| I can relate as there are times when I feel life is a loop of doing the same thing day after day. As others have stated, this could be a sign of depression but my main suggestion would be to do a bit of introspection. Look and try to discover hobbies, passions even and try to cultivate them. What you need is a goal in life, something that gives your life purpose. Now this doesn't have to be some grand thing but just something that gives you personal joy on a day to day basis. Ask yourself what gives you the most fulfillment and if you are not sure try out new things. Keep your mind open and try things you would not otherwise do. The key is to explore until you find something that clicks. |
| Sounds like you should take a break from insant gratification in your hobbies. I've been feeling bored so I chose to read more books and have been having a great time. Or take up a creative hobby, that has done wonders for me too. |

| Kids ITT talking about being depressed for a year or so ... I've been manically depressed for over 20 years. You're never going to feel the same again ever, but you can manage by finding things to get interested in and using substances like alcohol and cannabis. Lately I've been getting into Linux stuff and the Raspberry Pi and that's got me focused on something other than how miserable I feel. You need to find some new interests. |

| Search a new hobby or start a new project. If you play video games for example and cant enjoy any new game, it is probably a little of nostalgia or depression. I know the industry is not on its best state, but you know... you can always play old games. I have had that feeling too, I started programming, doing other hobbies and (in my case) re learn how to enjoy my old hobbies: I watched anime daily instead of just eating a whole anime in one day, for games I started to not care about all the fomo they have and dont give a crap about social pressure to be on what hot right now and just play old games or single player one. I learn to enjoy my free time quietly and relaxed,after all it is my free time. I would also suggest to let the phone/social media aside while you do it. |

I know things like technology keep advancing, but it really does make me wonder how far we'll get before it becomes more and more of a stalemate. Technology-wise anyway. |

See this is what I’ve been up to OP. With this itsy bitsy device I have a super charged retro console that can play any game I could ever desire, this would have blown my mind as a kid.  You need to find cool projects to get into. Ans yes I’ll go into detail later about why you feel so bored and miserable. |
