| Yeah it's ridiculous, the animation really isn't that good, every thing feels weightless and floaty. The power system is ass and boring muh isekai magic video game mechanics is cancer. People are just born with a certain rank and can't go up ranks, it's an obvious crutch to avoid having to write any character progression. Jin Woo has to be one of the worst characters of all time, his only trait is that he has a cringe MHA gay asmr deep voice, muscle and retarded random 1 feet tall women flock to him. Of course he gained all that out of thin air overnight and didn't have a mental breakdown over having became a completely different person physically and mentally. He doesn't have any character and ruins every bit of tension or stakes, he's an anti-character, he's a black hole that absorbs everything else written in the script. Every fight scene is just guy roars, CGI summon that is literally soulless and doesn't have free will roars back, Jin woo is a psycho and kills everyone in a white and black 1 year old mentality, Jin woo meets an enemy, tells to the viewer the monster is stronger than him, Jin woo one shots the '''''stronger''''' monster without taking any damage or sacrificing something, defeated '''''stronger'''' guy stands back up, roars and dies again. I can't believe Jin woo killed the traumatized and in-shock hunter in cold blood then enslaved his fucking soul for the rest of the eternity when he was fighting the ice elf for absolutely no consequences. That was such a middle finger to any viewer with IQ above negative, teasing with a cool axe and shield wielding character who got setup for character development just to not only be killed by superman-killer Jin woo, who he didn't pose any threat to or the humans he was trying to protect, but also to get his soul stolen and enslaved. That hunter was right btw, Jin woo let all of them die even though he's an omniscient god. This anime is so bad that when I used as it background slop when practicing drawing it made time slow down to 1/15. |

| The fact the term ragebait is being used so wrongly by SL fans says a lot about them. Rage bait would be something like complaining they censored the anime because in the manhwa the girls are impossibly flat in the back and front and giving them asses and breasts has ruined your anorexic fetish. |

| I don’t mind a paper thin story as long as I go in expecting a paper thin story which, with Solo Leveling, I do. I can shut my brain off and enjoy the excellent fight animation without caring too much about plot development. Is that a realistic AOTY for me personally? No, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy it for what it is. |

| @Natsude_tanaka The pace in S2 is too fast, at the very least twice faster then in S1. They mix up things and change them and cut almost everything except fights. Btw in LN fights usually are very fast like less a page up to 2 pages. So you just lack information so it is hard to understand and digest it. And you a correct the author is unexperienced so we won't see MC struggling at all (he struggled b4 he became a player). |

Btw it’s not connection of reader and writer even if it’s small. It’s that the reader is the writer… Bruh read with his eyes closed. Meaning the writer always needs to respect the readers and the reader needs to support the writers they love, even by criticising them. It also ironically has a one piece main theme: camaraderie ship between everyone in your life. You missed so many main themes and picked like chapter 1 summary lol.
