yaiba reboot will be different to the old anime and manga

It has been revealed that the Yaiba reboot anime will feature some characters and scenarios happening sooner and differently than they did in the first anime and manga.

The anime produced by WIT Studio and directed by Takahiro Hasui (Mob Psycho 100) will premiere in 2025.

If that's the plan, then watching the original adaptation is still worth it. Watching both would be a different experience.
