| sometimes what feels like hopelessness is actually just colossal hang-time. just because something isn't happening immediately doesn't mean it won't! a big part of growth is recognising when to be patient and when to keep throwing yourself towards a result. more people need to believe in what they are capable of, and most importantly understand how long some things take and to be okay with that process. everything will fall in place with the right dedication and mindset, disappointment is often actually just disillusion, disillusion with where you stand, disillusion with what you should have expected, disillusioned with ideas about impossibility. skill and ability is nothing in the face of time and determination. give yourselves a little credit and try a little harder, get acquainted and even invested in the process of learning, that in of itself is deeply enriching if you let yourself be humbled by all the things you can learn just by looking. just don't expect it to happen today or tomorrow! |
