I for once am quite fond of prehistoric creatures, especially everything before mammals took over. The only good mammals are rodents and cats, humans are not mammals since we invented bottle feeding

If I had to face them alive, then I would probably be afraid of a few.

Not some of them. Every once and a while, I'll collect rockweed isopods from the beach to put into my saltwater tank. There's no good footage of it online, but they swim like they're superman, and are just fun to watch in general. We may not have trilobites anymore (Which is too bad, since a good deal of them looked cute as fuck), but at least isopods survived. :3

Not mine, pinched it from this Instagram reel.

I'm only afraid of the Delemere dinosaur, makes me never want to visit Delemere forest ever again. My niece goes there and sends pictures of her visit and I break out in the shakes, afraid I'll never see her alive again......but other than that nah, if scientists ever want to bring something back, it needs to be Trilobites. Their so adorable.

Trees are still creatures, so....

Now I returned to East Asia (different from Southeast Asia) in South Korea, I'm not that comfortable with ginko trees, the trees that existed before the big meteorite destroyed large creatures of likely-feathered dinosaurs.

Their seeds that are fallen on the ground smell so rancid during autumn.

Maybe AI and cloning will revive them some day i guess. I am already afraid of wild animals like tigers, lions, gorillas, bears, etc. They will rip me apart and eat me :^(

I would be scared of them if they were alive, I'm glad they aren't. If they were alive I would try to create a group that specializes in their extermination.

@KittenCuddler RIP Machairodontines. They might be gone, extinct, but they won't be forgotten. 😔

No, I don't fear prehistoric creatures. I find them fascinating, but without feeling dread while reading about them. Possibly it's because they have been extinct for millions of years. However, it'd be indeed a scary experience to meet one of them, even a herbivore, in real life.

@Adnash They aren't extinct, though! They just evolved to be smaller, softer, and furrier!

Well consider how terrifying a Great White Shark is in this day and age:

But if you take the Megalodon into account, it was so much more horrifying. Like a true monster. So yes it does instill in me a certain sense of awe.
I CELEBRATE myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.

Of course I am. Many of them should not be allowed to drive cars, but here we are. They need to go twice as fast on the highway, and half as slow in parking lots.

Jurassic Park is frightening in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T- Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend, oh no!
