Rec Club Winter Challenge 2024 – Scroogin’ Around December 1st – January 4th Hello all to the next Rec Club Winter Challenge! Grab a cup of cocoa and a warm cap for a cozy time! As you fall into a deep sleep, the ghosts of past, present, and future have come to stop by. One by one, they each have a simple request: to test your faith in anime/manga consumption! Each of the three ghosts has a specific set of tasks to give you. The Ghost of Past Titles will get you feeling nostalgic, reminding you of when you first got into the hobby. Meanwhile, the Ghost of Present Titles will make you hesitate, showing you what you may not enjoy. Despite it all, the Ghost of Future Titles will show you hope. RULES There are 3 challenges with three tasks each. You must complete all 9 tasks to finish this challenge by watching or reading a title for the event. For detailed information on what each task is, see the spoiler below. - Each task has a specific condition that must be met by watching/reading an anime or manga title of your choice for this event. - All anime and manga title of any format and length (TV anime, OVA/ONA, movie, manga/novel, one-shot, etc.) can be watched or read for each task. You cannot use the same anime/manga title for more than one task. - Rewatching or rereading titles is permitted for any task. Make sure to include it in your post for your title(s) stating so. - Record the titles you have completed in your post. (See example in How To Participate section below.) - All titles are eligible for this challenge, as long as the title finishes airing/publication before the end of the event. HOW TO PARTICIPATE Create a post in this thread that follows, or similarly follows, the below template. You may freely customize and edit your post however you like, as long as it contains the information needed. Feel free to start the challenge at any time, but the event ends on January 4th! So be sure to get your post and list in before the end of the session!
