| I like villains with "pure" motives like "I just wanted some friends but everyone ignored me." The secondary villains who feel empty inside and get seduced by false promises coming from the main villain. (Like "Unseal me and I'll give you the power to make anyone submit to you.") I wish a whole anime was made of the "Sakura Angels" visual novel because I found Yuzuki to be one of the most endearing secondary villains. (that gets redeemed)   Late game, she points out that she's been in the same class as the MC the whole time. And that hits differently because you realize the extent she was ignored. |

| There are a broad range of villains I like for various reasons. Vegeta- To a certain extent, I admire Vegeta for his pride. I also admire him for his battle intelligence in that he finishes other bad guys off rather than getting swayed by their false pleas for mercy. Pain- I like his character design and his god-like attitude. Sasori & Deidara- I think they both look cool. I also like Deidara's passion about art. Even if I don't agree with his artistic expression lol Hidan- I find his craziness amusing. Virgo Shaka- I liked the mystery behind his strength as a Gold Saint prior to the Sanctuary arc as well as the display of his abilities during the arc. I could name others, but it would be too long of a list. |
