Besides using this website to keep track of course. How many series have you watched to this day?

Yeah, I have everything listed to my notepad. I mean, all those 3051 completed titles that I currently have.

+ lots of other anime or MAL related stuff as well. I have used so much time to make those lists.

No, but it's probably not a bad idea to consider setting up a spreadsheet, since no site is comprehensive enough to track what I want (it will just take a lot of initial effort).

Not only do I keep a list counting all the different distinct series, but it's in chronological order, so I always know the first, the most recent, and everything in-between in the order in which I watched them. I keep it as an actively updated running list on my profile page, and include some basic accompanying information like the genres for the series as listed on MAL and another online resource (either Wikipedia or Anime Planet, depending on whether Wiki lists it or not), as well as my personal rating out of 10.

The criteria is that I don't include films or standalone short films (but do include series with as few as two episodes), don't include currently watching series, don't include paused/on hold series, and don't include dropped series. Otherwise, if I did, the total tally would be a lot higher than it is by dozens. And I include a series on it and consider it counted as long as I have watched one full season of it. Most of the series on it I have watched all the seasons of or they only have one season anyway (however long in terms of episode count), but I make that statement because there are series which I watched one season of and don't have a wish to continue and watch the other or others right away or at all ever. If I'm planning to continue watching the seasons one after the other pretty much back to back then I'll wait until completely finished to add a series.

Anyway, that list as it presently stands is at 296. I already know what my 297th and 298th series will be as I only have a few episodes left in each of them. But then there is 299th which I also have a feeling I know which it might be, and then it will be very interesting to see what ends up as my 300th, either randomly or if I decide to actively choose one for that distinction.

And even if I consider the one I mentioned on my profile page on MAL as like the original or "master copy", it's technically not only limited to MAL, as I have the same list on some other websites which are for listing and categorizing multiple mediums of media, as well as offline on a Notepad file and Excel/OpenOffice-type electronic document in case MAL or any or all particular websites were to go down.

No. This website is the only thing I use to track the anime I watch.

Yes google keep(so it's easier to get back when I change phone)and when I reach maximum character I just make the II version and so on. So far I am at 970 different series excluding missing sequel (they would add another roughly 100 entries without increasing my number).

Does exporting my list from MAL counts?

Yes, besides using this website, I also keep a separate list of every show I watched.

Beside using MAL list, I use polish website - shinden to also store all the things I watched, except there I have 5 series less, as formating is weird with some of them. [like putting three heaven's feel movies as one and not as three] still I have completed 1,243 anime right now and I have over 600+ on my planned list without seasons from 2024 as I took a long break from weekly and only just started watching spring season.

@WatchTillTandava you kind of keep the list like mine except that I dont put sequels or animes that have 37+ episodes
