| Sunraku's work ethic is honestly admirable imo. He fought until he encountered a gold scorpion. Maybe part of it was due to luck but felt like he just didn't give up until he at least gained some xp. Classic RPG gamer move. On another note, these latest episode has been following mostly on his journey like a gamer protagonist. He's improving everyday. |

| That was the best fight of the series after Wethermon! Sunraku said so himself! Respect to the Golden scorpion for fighting til the end. They were a formidable opponent. C2C is showing the anime world what can be achieved if a studio focuses exclusively on a single series for a few years! Both the 3D and 2D were great! The texture of the scorpion was a little busy but it works well enough. The flaming scorpion was LIT (pun intended) and Sunraku's movements had a surprising number of frames. The effects were decent. The 3D ones did stand out too much in some cases, but the 2D ones were great. Overall, my favorite episode of the Season! Also, SLF Theater is back!!! πππ It's a good one at that! (Not that any SLF Theater has ever been bad.) |

| It took a while, and lots of quick tactical analysis, experimentation, observational haki, kiting, cat's paws, and still data mining all that time but it looks like a good game indeed, Sunraku. Hey the SLF Theater is back. Yey! |

| Man I swear every ShangriFra big boss fight is a must see event and spectacle and I LOVE how Sunraku has to use all his knowledge of the game mechanics, his abilities and learning his opponents’ tendencies to come out on top as opposed to the usual VRMMORPG anime with the MC being OP. Golden scorpion fight was epic, I think it was just as good as weathermon tactically, but the animation didn’t look as good to me. This more so felt like your usual SLF episode production wise. Still, I love how it lasted the entire episode and every time Sunraku thought he had him finished off he’d just keep going, just like those souls multi phase fights. Took every trick in his bag(literally) to finish off the scorpion It’s also dope that they incorporate the lore of the game into the fight mechanics, like Sunraku mentioned the moon playing a role in the enemy’s abilities. Small detail but if he can figure out what it is, he can find the best time to challenge enemies and know how to prepare. This anime is so cool cause it really is like a let’s play in anime format where we see a guy get better and better overtime! |

| GOD BLOW– I mean how can you run from a rare enemy right? Would definitely want to try and beat it for the drops! How did that gave him 20 levels!? What the hell, how much did he gain again with the Wethermon fight? Didn't know Shiny pokemons gives so much EXP. +More lore, both Lycagon and Wethermon do be associated with the night/moon. Feels like the game's final boss being in the moon would also be epic. And something about it reminded me of Log Horizon once again lol Im excited to see what kind of weapon/s will be crafted from those golden crystal scorpion!! |

| You know, we were kinda missing an episode dedicated to a full fledged battle against an enemy with that many tricks up its sleeve. Melee attacks, long range attacks, incredible durability, regeneration, it was nasty alright. Thankfully, Sunraku in his innate ability to react and adapt quickly to these scenario pulling off the correct skill, weapon and both dodge and attack strategy was able to overcome it and gain 20 levels in the process. What a deal. This is way different from other animes that present you with a scenario like this and then the mc wins somehow. Here all of his tools have been already presented, what may be op in his reaction time maybe but you can still see it in a way as feasible. |

| I didn't expect a golden scorpion showing up, but it was probable that they where not going to give our man a new weapon and make him progress the story of the show that easily, the fight was cool and him getting 20 lvls is something i actually predicted when watching would happen lol. From the story aspect was a nothing burger but for the gaming aspect it was really cool, its very hard to have anime that actually convey a gaming story properly, this is the type of stuff that is just pure gaming fun that you would do when playing a game like this. I think the only other MMO oriented anime out there that does it this well is kings avatar but it does it from the perspective of chinese and SEA style mmos which i'm not particularly a fan of. |
| Yay! Mini is back! Emul is so adorable. I really liked the gold scorpion animation. Well done. But going up 20 levels against just a rare boss and not a unique? Even with all those minions. Not buying it. That one's just broke, devs, I thought this wasn't supposed to be a trash MMO? |

| I dunno man, the golden scorpion looked kinda ass to me. The textures looked grainy, the design was too busy, and it was hard to make out what was actually happening in a lot of the shots. Either way it was a great episode tho, the writing for the fight was good and otherwise the animation looked good as well. Mainly because the skills he obtained from trash games and bringing them into a god-tier game, you get to see his creativity in trying to cheese the enemies. One of those cheese methods leading to the introduction of a rare boss. The gold crystal scorpion. This is not on par with the Wethermon the Tombguard in action sequences, length of fight, and creativity in cheesing, but this episode is still worth watching as a runner-up because the gold crystal scorpion is definitely a good fight. |

I thought this was shangri las worst episode lol it just felt like filler with some bs cgi monster
| @Bustanut214 I can see how the CGI monster can be BS, but everything else about the episode really shows the type of skills that Rakurou can bring to the game. It seems like he's really testing the developers. Killing a rare boss using cheese methods at a much lower level than what the boss is. I would only see it as a filler episode if it offers nothing of value. Just like Naruto. I think this episode did. I also wouldn't be able to tell if it's a true filler episode because I haven't read the manga. |
| First of all, Emul is just too cute, anyone would fall asleep to that lullaby! I honestly don't know if Sunraku is lucky or not to encounter such a rare monster, but that fight was fantastic, the second best, after Wethermon. The golden scorpion gave him a huge amount of experience to level him up to level 99. I can't wait to see OiKatzo's reaction when he realizes how much Sunraku has leveled up, and Bilac's face when he sees all the materials he has gotten. |

| What an amazing episode. This studio doesn't get enough credit for being able to do 20 straight minutes of raw action. It might not be as explosive as jujutsu kaisen or similar "sakuga shows", but it's consistently such a high bar. |

| Oof, the CG is really rough in this one, when the golden scorpion is chasing Sunraku it is literally walking on thin air and the perspective makes no sense, I caught that instantly on first viewing. Seems that they blew all the budget on episode 1's animation. Bad looking cg, ok but scorpion walking on air smh. |
