Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

| Who cares? Do you not want to see the thing you like succeed? why do you have to gatekeep some to "prevent it from getting popular?". It is already one of the most popular manga so it isn't that niche, and I don't understand the idea that if the anime becomes popular it ruins it. |

| It isn't how it works. More known works have toxic fans and haters because they are the loudest bunch. Lesser known works have toxic fans who feel secure that they are consuming the most advanced product which others couldn't "conquer". Once a piece of media is out there, it's meant to be consumed, hype is part of how entertainment society works and the only thing to worry about is when the fans force the author's hand. |

The worst that can happen in this case is to quickly develop a toxic fanbase just like what happened with Frieren.

| @Dez6AkokensMail Quite funny that you jump on assumptions about me, without even realizing that I love both FMAB and Frieren, rating both equally high. I just dont like the toxic MAL behavior where people complain when anime A beats anime B on the sites top charts, as if that means anything but somehow have to beat one or the other down to assert some childish dominance. Like who cares, Frieren is now on the top spot, so was Interspecies Reviewers for a short while. These top charts dont mean much in the grand scheme of things, a lot of my favorite anime arent even in the top 50 but I live on. |

| This has a very "I liked it before it was cool" vibe. Every size of Fandom has toxic fans. Don't be one of them. If anything, Manga like this getting more popular is a good thing because it could lead to a change in the industry towards better fantasy stories that aren't just generic power fantasy isekais. |
