11 masterpiece episodes 1 good episode the last episode could be better...but it shows in the future they will be closer than before! I loved all of the characters! Peak rom-com close to kaguya-sama 11/10 |

anime really burned out the last two episodes, they should have kept the bro and sis thing going, I need more sexual tension not this competitiveness. |

Kuze kun managed to turn around the audience after Suou and Kimishima's performances by making Alya speak Russian on the first part of her speech to draw all the audience attention to her. Yuki and Masachika's sibling rivalry is off the charts with this one, Aly is just winning by default though thanks to being on the title of the anime and also being the main heroine of this anime and like Ayano said to Yuki, last boss are always the ones who end up losing so rip election. |

The long-awaited day, the closing ceremony, has finally arrived! YukiAyano decided to deliver her speech first, and AlyaKuze took second place. It seems that of the two pairs, the one who seems to have the upper hand based on their speech is AlyaKuze. However, will they also become the student council president and vice president? We'll see! Stay tuned for the next season! |

Stellar finale, ending ceremony finally around and shit was tense but great to watch. Masachika and Yuki's showdown before the ceremony was great, both sides showing their fangs and some of Masachika words to Yuki were fucking crazy. Likewise it was also really nice to see Yuki's inner monologue when she's properly locked in and running through all possibilities. Eh personally from a surface level, i still thought Yuki had a tad bit more of stronger speech with her aim's and goals for me, and probably would've gotten my vote, but that's me. I guess the value of Taniyama and Miyamae joining as officer's to Alya if she won holds a lot more importance then i've given credit for. I did also really like Masachika's idea for Alya to start her speech in Russian to recapture the crowd, an his speech in general. Bro really is just wired differently when it comes to social techniques and unmatched charisma i swear, i can't help but respect him. Student ceremony arc in general i thought was ok, the premise was meh but the character building and development's it introduced were really great and well executed imo. Shit like Masachika and Alya relationship being closer as ending ceremony got closer, some of Masachika backstory getting revealed, Yuki's slyness and ruthlessness to opposing parties were all enticing, and as the closing act for the season. If i had to name 4 things that really stuck with me too the end of the show that i enjoyed, i'd probably have to name the Characters, visuals, endings and Yuki. Character's in this show i thought were well done and fun, honestly the author i thought nailed the formular to making unique personalities and traits for each character thus making them so rememberable. For the main cast themselves, Masachika's first impression for me seemed generic but quickly turned into respect after it felt like they washed his character out, moments like his initial 1 to 1 confession to wanting to help Alya win student council presidency or the flashback scene of him grabbing her hand for a dance kinda showed to me what highlighted him out more from other male SOL romance protagonists. Dive deeper and you see he's smart, can read a room, break a situation down for negotiations, handle a crowd and shows good situational awareness thus he quickly turns into a respectable character for me. Alya likewise quickly turned into an enjoyable character from how expressive she could be although being labelled as an "ice queen", she has her goofy moments of romance and awkwardness like any other human, but also has her times of weakness that the show highlights really well as time goes on. Visuals were amazing for a SOL romance imo. Quality felt consistent and high with the level of details in characters and backgrounds, Animation felt fluid, various character expressions added so much soul to the show, and even the multiple different ending themes that were equally high in visual quality made me wonder what their budget was. Speaking of ending themes, 100% another point that'll stick with me about this show. I know multiple ED's aren't that crazy, but i feel like because the show was able to keep consistent high quality of so many fronts, the fact they also have the budget and planning for multiple EDs as well, i can't help but be shocked with the overall production quality. Finally, yeah i originally started the show because of the Yuki propaganda on my feed and sure as hell was it worth stick around. Yuki is probably the funniest and goofiest little gremlin this show could produce as both a pure being of chaos in the shows plot, and having some of the funniest gags and bits possible. Like the author really cooked so fucking well with her and gave her one of the most compelling personalities in the show that i can't help but thank them for doing the Lord's work with it. I also find it hilarious how the author has to "nerf" her position in the MC love triangle by making her Masachika actual blood related sibling (not like that seems to do much). So to end it off, "Came for Yuki, stayed for Yuki (and a bit of the plot)." All in all, i'd give it an 8/10. Roshidere was a genuinely enjoyable and nice watch for a romance and comedy, and if you want a tad bit of SOL and school drama sprinkled in, it has it. There were also a ton of memorable moments and things about this show that i already mentioned before, but yeah, the production quality of this show amazed the shit out of me and i can't wait for what they've got for season 2. |

Aw, I'm going to miss this anime. It was fun and thankfully it got a second season! Woohoo! Goddamn, Alya and Kuze blew it out of the gd park. They did amazing! I teared up a little when Alya remembered what Kuze said about her being a hardworker. Kuze's speech was very wholesome and funny despite no one laughing at his joke. I'm glad Kuze thought about having Alya talk in Russian to get everyone to shut up, if it wasn't for that Alya would've just stood there with her anxiety building up ultimately leading to a disaster. He's great at planning ahead. Even Yuki was able to admit defeat. The sibling rivalry was a little too enjoyable, especially with Yuki's evil looks. The way Kuze reacted when Alya said his given name was so cute. Ahh the ending was cute too, holy shit this anime is good. I'm sad its over, but I'm considering reading the LN if it's online lol I wanted to see her kiss Kuze on the cheek or a hug at least 😭 One thing I don't understand is why the current president said they were only in office for a couple of months. Does the president not stay in office for a whole year? I think there's some importance in what the president said about a lot of people leaving the SC. I think Alya is going to do the opposite and a lot of people will join. That's my prediction at least. Overall, this anime was very fun. I'm not sure why so many people have complained. I can agree the SC arc was a tad too long, but its ending was fantastic. The visuals, music, story and character-building were great. I do wish it had a little more romance. 8/10 for me. |

cooldogmom said: I wanted to see her kiss Kuze on the cheek Mmm, episode 4. cooldogmom said: One thing I don't understand is why the current president said they were only in office for a couple of months. It has only been just a bit over three months since the academic year began, and so did his role as the student council president. cooldogmom said: I think there's some importance in what the president said about a lot of people leaving the SC. Yes, there is. To summarize, the students of Seirei Gakuen believe Yuki to be unbeatable. And even if some of them were to work as a general affairs officer, working alongside someone who you lost against in the election wouldn't fit right with them. They wouldn't be able to work under them without being overwhelmed with a sense of mortification. This is why Taniyama hasn't joined the student council. She was able to give up on her dreams because it was Yuki; she believed the Masa-Yuki duo to be invincible, the perfect pair. cooldogmom said: Overall, this anime was very fun. Ending's a bit anti-climactic. It does set the stage for the second season which I'm eagerly anticipating to come. The war isn't over for Alya. The second season should show the follow through. |

So why the big score drop from earlier in the season? I’m on ep 8 but haven’t watched in a while. I kinda don’t care about this student council stuff. |

WOW, KUZE ABSOLETLEY CAME IN AND DESTROYED THE COMPETITION! I can't wait for season 2! Especially with the new school outfits that they were talking about! This anime was so pretty to watch and was eye candy all the way through! Can't wait for season 2!
@camghost10 I'm delighted to see that you liked it. Do look forward to season two. It will be better in every sense. The first five episodes will be among the highlights of the season. |

I mean, it was alright...the last ep was actually good, the rest of it, not that much Kuze going from a worthless otaku to a genius that the whole school listens to...hm, ok Sure, he might have put on a facade and pretend to be useless but that's how people saw him so why are they suddenly eating from his palm like that...no one except Alya spend the time with him to see that change I know student council is more important than god in anime but damn was it pushed so hard in this one..i wish it actually focused more on the rom part between Kuze and Alya and com part aka, be funny...no, Yuki being cringe doesn't count I might watch S2 to see how the story continues but man I'll hate seeing more Yuki and her dumb attempts at jokes and giving off "the boss vibes"...easily the most annoying girl of the season |

What an excellent show so far, seems the student bosy like her, and wow I didn't expect her to start speaking russian for the beginning of that speech lol! Was a little underwhelming of an ending, but knowing we're going to get a season 2 lessens the sting a little. Overall, I think this show is deserving of a 9/10. The visuals were exellent and the story was pretty great too. Gotta love the sibling rivalry. Another great show from Doga Kobo, they really have been pumping out some excellent stuff lately. Can't wait for season 2! |

@whitebeartigtig Mmm, you're going to love the first episode! It's a minor spoiler, and you'll have likely forgotten about it by then, but - Masachika will go on a date with Yuki and Ayano in the amusement park. The last time they did was back in middle school. |

@aurora_yuuki Yeah, I was gonna say, "so last week's ep wasn't the season finale?" I would have been really pissed if that were the case, when the real last episode would have been aired and I was left out of the loop! Thank the kami that doesn't seem to be the case! And btw, any idea on when season 2 will start airing? They said it was in production so I assume it would be in the winter? |

@Cosplay_Joe Depends on how many volumes they plan on adapting. With the same pacing, they should do until V6. V4 and V6 is FIRE. Ending the season with the piano But adapting until V9 (24-25eps) would also be great. In which case, we would get Gensei Suou's backstory as part of the season finale. And also... some reveals. Mm, I'm not delving into those as they would be major spoilers. But do know that S2 will absolutely outshine S1 in every sense, if done right. As for when it will start airing - they're likely still in early production, so it's hard to make a guesstimate. But I don't think it'll be airing anytime before Spring 2025/Summer 2025 (if they adapt until V6) or Winter 2026 (if they adapt until V9). |

piano showdown would be quite epic. With Alya, Masachika and Masha's character growth as well as the progress in their interpersonal relationships, S2 will blow S1 out of the water. Some new characters will make their mark on the show - inerasable marks, I might add.

@aurora_yuuki Ok, so spring/summer 2025 at current pacing. Thanks for letting me know. And that'd be interesting if they went for 24-25 eps rather than 12, I didn't think about that. |

The first half was great, with both Yuki and Alya taking turns stealing the scenes. But then the second half happened, and it was just the most miserable student council election arc. I held hope that the election arc would finish by the end of the cour, but it didn't. I can't believe it, but this is the first Doga Kobo show in which I won't be watching S2. 3/10 DROP |

@Cosplay_Joe Yep. I kind of wish it happens, regardless of the odds. But the LN has 10 volumes, so the likelihood of them making the decision to adapt until almost catching up with the LN has quite a slim chance of being a reality, but we've seen it happen before in animanga. Anyway, I'd want 13 episodes instead of 12 if they're adapting V4-V6. There are quite a number of details and scenes that were cut in S1, most of which I wish I were added. The epilogue of V6 is very underwhelming (would be even more so for anime-onlies who thought the S1 finale to be underwhelming), so they'll probably skip it and adapt until — the piano showdown. |

@semaj1992 Thought I was the only one having it as my favorite show of the season. This show gets overhate, for some reason. That being said, you should also check out ONK II that's airing this season. It's PEAK. I already know what'll happen in S2 Episode 1 of Roshidere - Masachika going on a date with Yuki and Ayano in the amusement park. |

@Cosplay_Joe So you're watching BokuYaba~ I love that anime from the bottom of my heart~! It used to be my favorite romcom earlier this year before I watched Roshidere! It's objectively far better, but I still prefer Roshidere. You're going to love it too!! I rewatched both the seasons more than twice! Rewatched every episode for more than a whole month. I did this for Roshidere too!! I rewatched almost every episode a dozen times while waiting for the next episode to air. |

@aurora_yuuki Wait, the 13 eps I thought someone said that was for THIS season, not next season (though it was labeled as 12, so that's why I was confused). I only got to ch 5 of V1 so I can't say anything for V4-V6. But i'll be sure to keep an eye out when I get to that point. |

@Cosplay_Joe S1 of Roshidere was always meant to adapt 12 episodes. It initially arose confusion from my end because one of the key visuals they released featured Alya and co. in their bikinis. Dunno if you've seen it. So I initially came to the conclusion that they are going to shoehorn V4 in those 12 episodes — thereby essentially being a very rushed adaptation. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. I do wonder why literally almost every studio is so dead set on animating 12 episodes for almost any anime. More often than not, that leads to rushed adaptation of the source material. They could literally animate any number of episodes until any point in the said novel or manga; preferably, ending the season with a satisfying ending. It doesn't always have to be 12, 13, 24 or 25 episodes. But that's just me. Anyway, keep on reading. You're gonna love what's coming your way. |

@aurora_yuuki Because they have to go by seasonal blocks. (at least if it's aired on TV anyways) 12-13 eps is 12-13 weeks and that's a full season's worth. And 2 seasons is 24-25 eps accordingly. I remember when the usual block for 2 seasons was 26 eps back in the 90's, but yeah, so that's why. |

@Cosplay_Joe So it's the season of the year. Every 3 months. But it often leads to rushed ending and poor pacing. Then, how about shows exceeding 26eps? |
