I am currently reading Chainsaw Man for the 4th time and somehow i see new things every time, so i thought why not open a new topic for it.

1.) Makimas Goal to retreive/defeat the gun devil: Since Makima stated in chapter 84 that she wants to use chainsaw man to erase bad things in the world like the other 3 horsemen, is it possible that she wanted to kill the biggest part of the gun devil to weaken its state on earth to possibly weaken Yoru in a future fight? Since there would have been other parts of the Gun Devil still alive, its likely that it wouldnt have gotten reborn in hell, so she would reduce its power to 80% without the 20% part of the USA.
2.) Makimas hate for the other 3 horsemen: Again, Makima stated in chapter 84 that she wants to erase the 3 other horsemens to create a better place. But why? They fought together against chainsaw man as comerades, alongside the weapon hybrids. Fami shows some kind of affection towards her sisters (besides the death devil, everyone seems to work against her), so why is Makima trying to end them?
3.) In chapter 145 we learn that the devil that got killed by the falling devil was the actual justice devil and the people from the chainsaw man church were contracted to the fire devil. So was Yuko also contracted to the fire devil?
4.) Again about Yuko, why did she look like this devil-like thing before she got killed in chapter 111? I mean human-devil-creatures are normally categorized in 5 categories: Devils, Fiends, Denji (his kind of contract), weapon hybrids and people with a fire devil-contract. So whats up with her, bcs i doubt that she became a hybrid.
5.) Who is the other Chainsaw Man who also fought against the falling devil and killed Yuko? I feel like this topic drastically faded from the peoples minds after denji got cut up by public safety.
6.) In chapter 87, Makima stated that weapon hybrids exist even though their name and concept has been erased. But how come that there are still katanas? Makima killed Quanxi and her fiends with one, Yoshida cut off Asas arm, Quanxi decapitated katana man with one. Plot hole? Or do they just use different kinds of swords?
7.) Why the hell is fami so weak? We saw Makima with the strengh to fight against a primal fear, Yoru, who is standing her ground against the chainsaw devil rn, there is the death devil, who is the strongest devil and a horseman and a primal fear at once, but fami is just bad. My guess would be bcs in modern society, people dont need to fear hunger that much, but what are your guesses?
8.) We saw Pochita in a little, dog-like form at the beginning of the story, and yoru appeared as an owl-like creature. Is it possible that strong devils enter a more animal-like form when they are weakened? And why animals? A dog isnt a symbol for a chainsaw, and an owl not a symbol for war.
9.) Probably my favourite one: In chapter 115, in the endless aquarium, yoshida asks denji if he thinks that the chainsaw devil will erase the death devil for them. With the recent turns of events regarding the aging devil, i guess that public safety originally wanted to erase death, but switched to aging, or will try to erase death once the prophecy comes true. But its interesting how i never read about this scene since the moment the chainsaw devil started erasing things, and especially once the aging devil showed up.
10.) In chapter 112, Asa thinks about how Yuko revived after she sliced her up and strongly suspects fami to be the reason for it. But we learned that devils that fami starved and she controls are weaker than before, but Yuko was stronger. Why?

Tell me your thought abt this and feel free to add more bcs there sure is, but i havent realised yet.

I think he means that a lot of this story lacks so many basic storytelling features like fucking character development and internal logic of the world etc.

Well, i aint gonna say that it lacks storytelling if it gets explained at one point, and tbh, i love the manga and the hidden internal conflicts, the amount of interpretation you can do to dig deeper. but if that shit aint gonna get explained, it definelty lacks...
and to be honest, there is no other logical reason than the katana being a plot hole, for me thats for sure

“Full of nonsense or made up stuff” does not equal lack of character development or world building in any capacity.

Even then, Denji’s character is clearly shown to have regressed which is a point of contention for his character, so all of the developing will come later since a character’s development depends on how the journey concludes.

@EtherLux firstly, the point of denji's character relapse is pretty obvious. secondly, character development isn't even a basic storytelling feature lol. things like setting, characters, plot, conflicts, etc are basic storytelling features. development is one of the elements of characters, this should be common knowledge.

Sorry if i insulted your favorite manga😔.
you are making nosense, not every fantasy has this problem. this manga doesnt explain anything, the world per sé isnt nothing special, the authour forgets how he built this world so forgets the basic rules of his story. did you atleast read the full topic or Just came to me?😂
