| So recently these forums have been having giant debates on the two rating systems, rating based on the length of the show, and the far better system which I use, rating based on how much you've watched. Here's why we who rate based on how much we've watched are far more intelligent. If you rate based on length, Sazae san instantly becomes better than normal length 12 ep anime. But if you rate on watch time, all animes are infinite in length, and you can prove scientifically that a movie you've rewatched 10 times is better than a 12 ep anime cause you've spent more time watching the movie. Length based raters don't have this advantage. Anyways, I encourage anyone who rates on length to change their mind on their ridiculous system and realise watch time based ratings are far superior in every way. would love to hear some counter arguments |

No one rates on length, mostly everyone rates on enjoyment and quality and it has nothing to do with watch time or length, there are many shows you think about after you watch, then is it watch time? What about shows you watch while you do something else? Both systems are very flawed and make no sense to me, but if I had to choose between only those two I guess watch time makes more sense? But still not

| I can now confidently say that convenience store microwave Ramen is objectively far superior to any 5-star restaurant course; given that i ate the former almost every day when I was in college, but could only splurge for the latter like once a year. Flawless logic. |

| I rate solely on enjoyment. If I felt pure joy watching the show it will get a 7-9 so if it made me happy I will give it a high score becuse that what matter to me. For example the old godzilla movie which people today would say are pure crappy B-movies and sure they are b-movies but they bring me joy. Frack the quallity . |
