I'm not. I had the feeling with the 2 first episodes that people might think this is ecchi / harem when it's actually not.
However all spicy scenes were already in the LN and they even censored one of the LN so I wouldn't say the 2 first episodes were heavy on fanservice. The anime was merely following the source material.
However don't worry there will be 1 spicy scene every 3 episodes from now so it should be enough for people enjoying them without ruining the whole experience for other watchers.
The LN starts being serious about the story from volume 2 while volume 1 was only intended as a comedy novel, that's why.

I did watch food wars back in high school. I still think it's pretty good, but can be really creepy at times. I've also watched prison school, keijo, and other ecchi too back then. I just think it's weird and kinda gross how many people are completely ok with the sexualization of minors on such a wide scale in the anime industry. Alya, to me, is an example of that shit getting in the way of a genuinely good story being told. fanservice isn't even a bad thing in general. I'm watching cowboy Bebop atm and it's got some good stuff in there, but it's all adults. why does it happen with minors all the time? just make the character 18 and a third year instead of a first if you need the story to take place in a school setting or something similar and really want the fanservice scenes.

You're hung up on a moral implication that means literally nothing in fiction. This just tells me you're overly paranoid about both teenage sexuality and sexual predators.
