| I finished shippuden when it finished airing since I watched the episodes each week. I started dubbed then switched to subbed around 200s when I thought dub was taking too long. |

| 2014 for the manga, 2016 for the anime. Skipped alot of the war arc and the fillers though because I was not impressed with the war arc in the manga. |

I finished reading it as soon as the final part of the manga was released in English. I watched it to completion in 2018 I think.
It still wasn’t fully dubbed then either which is crazy to think about, had to watch the last 20 eps in Japanese which is fine because I prefer it and watched Naruto in both

Shippuden edges out Part 1 barely. Storytelling is better in part 1 imo, Shippuden is dedicated to a lot of world building and payoff fights so there’s just so much hype around it. I enjoyed shippuden more for what it is than part 1.
