| I hope the leak is false because I do not want this film to be remade. I mean, I am surprised that they decided to remake "Ranma 1/2" when neither the remake of "Urusei Yatsura" nor the sequel to "Inuyasha" was a hit. |

This is something I did not know. https://thetv.jp/news/detail/1025865/ Based on this article, the ratings were indeed #4. However, in the same month, the Smart TV Viewing & Recorder Playback Percentage for January anime was outside the top 10 and not in the rankings. Also, the anime with the highest ratings are basically those that do not air in the late night slot. In addition, since the Corona craze, more and more people have been watching works via online distribution, so viewership ratings no longer equal popular works or hits. Incidentally, a Japanese website called AniKore ranks the fall 2020 TV anime 39th in terms of ratings.
