theres ALOT to cover. what we've seen so far is mostly just the introduction to the real story. my guess is atleast 100 more episodes if people dont loose interest so far into the future

I'd say about three more two cour seasons, so maybe 70ish episodes; not including the rest of this season. The next arc after this deserves a full 12 episodes but should get 13 or 14. There is a perfect point for a cliffhanger mid high point of the arc. It would piss people off but if they wanted to do a cliff hanger it would be the best place to do it.

There are 30 volumes, including redundancy and JO, and they are going at around 6 volumes per 24-episode season, so there should be around 5 24-episode seasons if they adapt everything and continue at this pace. That means 3 seasons of content after this one.

Till now Mushoku anime adapted 3 volumes per cour, this second part of Season 2 will cover till volume 12 out of 26 total. So maybe they can do 4 cours (so 2 seasons, or so) and then combine something for the last 2 volumes, which are really intense.

The light novel has 26 volumes, in these two seasons we had 49 episodes (with the Eris OVA+ episode 0) adapting 12 volumes.

There are 14 volumes left, they could digress further adapting it into 58 episodes (2 seasons of 24 episodes + 1 of 10 episodes or 5 seasons of 12 episodes), They could also run into 2 seasons of 24 episodes.

With season 3 realistic end that season is to end it with Volume 17. So, 5 volumes and start season 4 with Volumes 18-21. Then Season 5 with volumes 22-26.

@Thorwind i hope people don't lose interest cause the Author said he will start work on the sequel once the anime has been adapted in full......................so the sooner the better imo

If you base the length off of the LN, they would need a little bit more than double the amount of episodes produced so far to finish the story. That's not to say that it's guaranteed to be adapted however.

Sad episode 7 won't be out until May 26th. I'm hoping they can cover the arc in 5 episodes and hopefully not wait until new season. Its funny how this season is almost already past the manga. Hope they continue making more seasons!!

What makes you think there will be more seasons? As far as my experience goes, Isekais get 1-2 seasons and then the production stops and you're pointed to the LNs if you want more

@shaked6540 Maybe he's thinking there will be more seasons because Mushoku Tensei was Kadokawa's most profitable literary work in fiscal 2023, And the 8 most profitable IP, making more than 2 billion yen in fiscal year 2023, remembering that Kadokawa does not have the profits from the anime, which belongs to another company, Vele remembers that the anime usually makes more profit than the original.

But I don't think you know much about anime if you're saying that.

@shaked6540 So you haven't watched Overlord, Shield Hero, Tensura, Konosuba or Re: Zero? All with at least 3 seasons, these are quite popular too.

@1000-MAT I didn't watch overlord and shield hero past the first season, but as far as I can remember, for konosuba, re zero and shield hero it took a lot of time until any of them got a 2nd, let alone a 3rd season

But on the other side, the list of unfinished or "only 1 season" (and forgotten) isekai is huge
