So i was recently watching Frieren and Edomae Elf, and it got me thinking do elves have the same internal metabolism and nutrient absorption as humans, it certainly has to be different given their physiological systems, slow aging and longevity, thus is it even a possibility for elves to become obese as quickly as humans do with a somewhat fatty food diet ? |

| I would imagine it depends from anime to anime. Some have cannonically stated their diets limit them to foods unlikely to gain weight, others are Elf-san ha Yaserarenai |
| If I were an anime creator, I wouldn't be able to think about details like my character being an elf and having a different metabolism than humans. I would imagine most of the character's characteristics to be human-like. |
