| Well this was certainly a ride, a bleak and dark one at that. It’s definitely emotional and powerful as anime, we do get a sense of what the relationship between Akira and Ryo are as a whole, for the most part the visuals are pretty good. My gripe with it is that it’s quite short in length with just 10 episodes capping it as it were. The finale was great as miserable as it was but it was a great series for me and it was a good to wrap things up. I’m not really someone who has read the manga or seen the original OVAs and what have you but regardless I was able to understand without seen any of those. I’ll give this show an 8/10. |

| Watching Devilman Crybaby makes me thankful that anime exists. Adapting this into live-action is impossible with all the R-18 stuff, and that action, in the end, would require dozens of millions of USD to make it look cool, and these types of movies never get hundreds of millions of dollars in budget. |
| BRAVO!!! damn fantastic!!! Great job to everyone involved! What an ending!!! Man, all the emotion this hits you with... It musta gone right over my head the last times I watched it cause there's so much more than just a crazy fight and the world ending. I'm glad I rewatched Devilman Crybaby and I look forward to revisiting this story in the future. |
| Gonna to take some time to process everything. I’d heard the manga was intense—violent, sexual, and with a mind-bending ending—but I wasn’t prepared for this. Satan? That battle? Everyone dying? It was both narmy and absolutely glorious at the same time. I had my issues with the series, but these last three episodes kind of made up for it. Too much, and I mean WAYYYYY TOOOOO MUCHHHH Nudity in this show man... FUCK. The ending was iffy, but they did what they could with the episode count. It was definitely an experience. Now I’m even more excited to see what Science SARU has in store for the Dandadan fights. |
