If you’ve watched up to season 5 already, I imagine you’ve been enjoying the show up to now, so I’d say it’s worth it to watch season 6 since, like others who have commented here, I think it’s better than season 5. You can form your own opinions about it and see how they differ from your friends.

@ktg My friends gave me spoilers :( they said Deku lost One for All in the beginning. Then at the end accidentally kills All Might when he was helping him better control his abilities. Tbh, I'm really thinking of just not watching any more eps cause they're my favorite characters ever.

There are 3 kinds of people, 1 spoils things for people despite knowing they’re in the middle of watching/reading the series. 2 allows them to enjoy watching the series without saying anything until you’re caught up, then will talk about it. 3 will “spoil” things with lies for some weird reason to either make you not want to continue, or to throw expectations for whats to come completely off, again, for some weird reason. Seems your friends are number 3, watch season 6 and enjoy.

Season 6’s first half is pretty rough, but if you can tough it out, the second half is some of the best the series has to offer

I had season 5 at a 6 and season 6 at an 8 so it’s way better to me. I think the general consensus (from what I’ve seen) is that season 6 is a huge improvement from the previous couple seasons and was the only time that I’ve actually been hooked on the show. At the end of the day it’s up to you but I have no clue why your friends would say it would ruin the show when it has the best reveals and fights lol
