Could someone explain to me that final clap sequence by Todo when he had only one hand? I missed it's significance on how it turned the tide. I only noticed a broken pipe. Help, please? Thank you in advance.
@metatron13 That basically was a bluff for a swap and Mahito fell for it. Nothing got swapped and Mahito got distracted, which helped Itadori land a Black Flash with maximum cursed energy output.

I have no idea what is going on, and I'm living for it. The light mind games, the pain, the suffering, the action, the friendship, and have I mentioned pain and suffering? This episode was absolutely painful to watch and painful in the best meaning of the word. My heart literally breaks when I see Itadori break and despair, and I cannot stop watching. And crying. It's sad and absolutely epic at the same time.

Was this what everyone was hyping up the Shibuya arc for?
Cool, don't get me wrong, but that's Goku transforming on Namek after Crilin's death. Like, sure, but I've already seen this when I was six. And Goku didn't wait for half a dozen of his friends to die, he just beats Freezer's ass on the spot
Tons of respect for Todo though, coolest man alive (hopefully?)

Good episode but sun-par animation again. The choreography was decent atleast, for most part

The details stood to me however, like Yuji's face injury resembling sukuna, a really neat detail. The imagery on the final sequence was a chefs kiss as well. There's something about seeing an unhinged character absolutely break down

Fake Geto to rescue? We'll have to wait & see ~~

Mahito’s miniarc dragged too much. And when he finally got defeated I didn’t get the feeling he suffered enough after all he’s done. It’s like authors don’t like to see their villains humiliated. And now he’s maybe getting saved after all? Ugh.

bruh fuck this shit. it was so annoying to just watch itadori play with mahito and not killing him immediately and now geto's there so this means of course mahito is saved. i'm annoyed af rn. i understand that they wanted to show the pathetic and pitiful state mahito was in but that was way too long. i smell plot armour to keep mahito alive just to make itadori suffer more- unable to kill the cursed spirit that killed two of his close friends right in front of him. the last scene has disappointed me to no end and has left a very bad taste. there's no way in hell itadori fights geto now and gets out alive. geto's presence there also means the long braid mommy and her lil bro is dead too.

The end of an era. Thank you Wit, Mappa and Isayama.
Feeling half happy, half sad.

@SenpaiJay98 it's not about transformations since (he managed to do the lightning special move thing which is an upgrade tho), it's about "don't mess with my friends because I'll kill you", and that happened when Todo got his hand chopped off. He wouldn't have been that mad without it happening, same thing as Dragon ball.

@k1Aegis everyone was hyping this arc because of everything that happens from Itadori vs Choso onwards. The Gojo vs Curses is also good.

Your comment doesn't make sense, Itadori didn't transform or get a power up, he kept fighting like usual. And no, he didn't get Nakama Power just from Todo losing his hand, bro already watched Nanamin and Nobara die. This was just the natural conclusion to a long battle, and just to remind you, no one can use Black Flash at will.

@k1Aegis lighting???? are you talking about Black Flash?(the move nobara, yuji, and nobara already did in season 1) Yuji already had that move since Season 1 when he fought Hanami(and he got it from technique not rage) and the technique DOESN'T get stronger with rage, Yuji didn't get stronger after Todo lost his hand(otherwise he would have gotten stronger/transformed when he was yelling/raging at Mahito after he killed Nanami in front of Yuji), everything was won with techniques and tactics todo/yuji had before season 2 even happened

@SenpaiJay98 @Siegfried10
sure alright he still can't use the black flash (sorry if I butchered such a precious name, I don't watch jjk in english right now, so I just didn't remember that one), I'm sure the fact that he uses it consistently in this episode does not reflect his ability to use it in the future, I'm sure there was no power-up, but that's still beside the point
Yuji was desperate because Sukuna destroyed everything, then sees Nanami die and gets reasonably angry. Then sees Nobara die and decides he's not angry anymore, just depressed and unable to move at all. Todo comes and delivers his speech, Yuji regains focus but isn't as mad as before. Sure, they told him Nobara may not be dead, but Nanami still is and very much. So he could at least be a bit bothered?
Then Todo gets hurt and somehow now it's the right moment for the true rage to kick in. Not after two deaths, not when his biggest enemy is shouting some bullshit after killing those two people. Is it too much to ask a hero to be annoyed by the death of his friends? He was holding up against Mahito quite decently, his point should be to try to kill him or at least do his best to save as many people as possible, but he's only given up before Todo arrived.
Then what is it that gets him as mad as he is after Todo says his technique doesn't work anymore?
Seeing Todo half dead? So Nobara wasn't enough for this hero
Nanami's death? Can't be it, he wasn't that enraged
Is it just built up fatigue that he can express because Mahito is injured and weak enough? Wow, might as well wait until someone else has killed him to go berserk, that would be convenient

@k1Aegis I feel like the final black flash made you get things wrong. In the manga it wasn't a big, hype moment. Yuji just calmly hit Mahito and he flew away. Mappa made a whole spectacle out of it. They also made the chase longer (Mahito actually didn't fall over and began throwing dirt at Yuji). Itadori wasn't mad that Todo lost his hand and his ability. Vice versa, he was apathetic. In this show getting angry doesn't give a power up out of nowhere, and no, Yuji still can't use black flash on command. What happened this ep was just a showcase of how concentrated Itadori was on this fight. There wasn't a single random thought, doubt or extra emotion inside his mind. And mentor and friend's deaths are not cheat codes that get protagonists stronger, they made things worse for Yuji.
Imagine normies saying: "Peaky Blinders is mid and overhyped. Just another typical crime drama show. Breaking Bad is much better lol.".

Banging episode Itadori paid homage to Gon. Our boi Todo is down for the count and lost an arm😔. Itadori has done the impossible and used black flash on command. Mahito's transformation went hard. When Itadori tapped into the dark side I LOVED IT. I NEED MORE OF THAT.

I was like internally screaming "Just kill mahito! Just kill Mahito! Just kill Mahito already! Fuck, just kill him!" until the end of the episode and was tremendously disgusted not to see that happening until the end. Worse then, Geto appeared. 😑 Can this anime just give me a moment of peace? I was also sad to see Todo lost his hands, but was full in awe when he still used one hand to clap Mahito's, even more awesome when he clapped it with the one that has already been severed. Dang, "Arms are just decorations. The act of applause is an acclamation of soul." Todo with his always mind-blowing entrances. 😎
Still the symbolism between the rabbit as Mahito and Yuuji being the leader of the foxes was like meh... Mahito didn't look a frail rabbit at all: he's disgusting, merciless and pathetic of a character. Gosh, just die already. Shine! Shine! Shineeeeeeee

Nice fight, but why did he have to get another transformation. I really feel there wasn't any need for that trope. The fight before it were way more interesting now it was just another ''dbz'' moment+again, cause of the zoom ins you couldnt even see some moments (time lag moment)

This was the shortest episode ever wtf HOW?? I hope the Geto that appeared was only his imagination because Itadori and Todo were soooo close to finishing him off. The snow scene was incredible, you could truly see Mahito's fear. What I don't get is, did Mahito meet up with Sukuna right before shit went down? Todo's scene was hilarious. I hope Todo gets his arm back :(
