Después de mucho relleno y peleas sin sentido, el final del arco golpea fuerte... aunque es gracias a esta parte que el anime en general ha obtenido una nota muy alta considerando lo antes dicho.
Siguiendo lo del episodio, es la mejor forma de culminar lo armado durante el arco, impresionante.

Great ending to an amazing arc. Seeing Meruem wanting to spend his final moments with Komugi really shows how far he has come in terms of character development. His goals shifted from wanting to rule over humanity to accepting his fate and realising what is now most important to him. He died next to the one person he could never defeat, a person he really cared about.

This episode definitely got me in my feels, I loved it.

While I knew that Mereum was going to die but the poison being contagious shocked me. Kogumi staying behind wasn't necessary but it was impactful enough for me to shed a tear.

If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Watched this episode yesterday and god I was crying. This was peak character development for Mereum. The final part after the credits was so beautiful, that's what really broke me.

Despite knowing how it ends, feels still hit hard. Though the Chimera Ant arc felt too long, the final parts really made it a godly work of art.

Good lord...those final three minutes, man. What could anyone say to add to that?

I think Hunter x Hunter does such an amazing job of actually following through on showing things that other anime just sort of dance around for simplicity. All big bad guys kill people and wipe out villages or whatever but HxH actually shows the Chimera Ants harvesting entire countries and slaughtering people. The atrocities they commit aren't just underlined as "oh you killed one named character mostly on camera so you're bad now" but painstaking showed over the course of like 80 episodes. And still at the end Meruem's death is heartbreaking because he wasn't just a mindless monster. He's not actually Perfect Cell just waiting to fight Goku once before he blows up the Earth (and then does...????) he has at least some thought of governing the world and eliminating wasteful shit like the pseudo-North Korea he conquered. Netero saw him turning away from being a destructive beast and basically panicked into killing him with a nuke before he made too much sense. Even Neferpitou had a weird purity in that she didn't evolve and get messed up like Youpi and Pouf and committed to following the King even though I also hate her guts and she's a psychotic piece of shit monster that cut Pokkle's brains out to learn about nen. Anyway, kinda rambling.

Also, the "Next Episode" bumper felt so wrong, especially with Gon's voice doing it.
