It should have a good soundtrack, or anime with a "sound". You can look at most of list to get an idea of the type of music I like. Acoustic guitar soundtracks/guitars in general, unique instruments, unique sounds, rock/alt rock. I also like good charismatic "they were right" villains like Makishima Shogo from Psycho Pass.
