Eren was able to exterminate all the Titans, but he was unable to stop the chain of conflict. Eldia fell into militarism and was eventually destroyed by bombardment. However, Eren was able to protect the future of his friends and loved ones, and in the end, protecting the friends around him may have been the best Eren could do. Throughout the story, I was skeptical of Mikasa's inability to make the decision to abandon Eren, who had fallen into nationalism, but when I saw Mikasa crying for Eren at the end, I was made to realize how cruel a decision that was for her. |

Yes my comments are worthless because I explain my opinion instead of posting insubstantial one-liners. Great and flawless logic. Well to be fair I did not expect anything else from you.

You're not just a clown, you're the entire circus at this point.
Just out of curiosity now, what is your take on following:
Eren was going along with the 50 year plan until Historia was brought up. That means Eren chose not to do the 50 year plan because Historia was in danger. Instead he chose:
- Humanity killed
- Mikasa killing him
- Hange, Sasha, Floch, Zeke dying
- Bunch of Paradis soldiers dying
- Leave Mikasa even though he loves her
- Mikasa getting bred by Jean
- Killing his mom
- Paradis getting nuked
over Historia becoming a titan.
Now with the ending of the show in mind is this good writing or is the ending in anyway a good conclusion to this part? Obviously no and that is just 1 of many other bad takes of this show with this kind of ending. But I guess it is still a good ending because... because... well it must be!!!

Obviously no and that is just 1 of many other bad takes of this show with this kind of ending. But I guess it is still a good ending because... because... well it must be!!! It's not hard to see that Eren choose this because he knew that war would still exist. His choice made all civilizations have the same materials to war against each other, so there would not exist any unilateral massacres. Everyone now has the same chance to survive, or, since now everyone is in equality and fought against a common threat, peace can really be a future option. Now, this scenario is hard to digest because no one would have such extreme line of thinking, still, most likely hard to deny that it has some logic in it. By the way, they inded had a moment of peace after the Rumbling. At least, with Armin's peace proposal, they lived in peace until many, many years after Mikasa dies of old age. What I don't understand of people disproportionate hate on the ending is precisely Paradis getting nuked: Why would this be a bad thing? We don't live in an utopia. War, conflicts exist. Shingeki no Kyojin even made the tragedy in a smooth way since the war only became a thing again when the technological progress became the same as of our real world. At least 100 years of peace, I would guess. It is impossible a story that has emphasis on cycles of war (starting with viking era and ending it at nowadays) would not make another cycle. Again, we do not live in an utopia. War will always exist. Complain about something that the main characters didn't even live doesn't makes sense. Saddens me even more that no one talks about how advanced they became and then everything turned into grass all over again. This made me remember of Einstein's quote: "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.". If the cycle continues somehow, this will most likely happens. I don't think the conclusion is neither bad, neither good. It is just a conclusion. It just fits the series. Easy of me to say it could have been better as I'm writing this comfortably relaxed in my room without knowing the pressure the author must have had, but yes, I do think it could have been better. Still, it was a solid episode and if I had anything to complain about it, I would say it could've had more time to develop things better. Time travel is a mess to deal with and AoT just makes it complex without elaborating further. Things as past and future existing at the same time or Mikasa and Ymir doesn't have the appropriate time to make the story flows better. We don't even see or know all the possibilities Eren did until he decides to do the Rumbling, all we know is that they all lead to a bad scenario and the future never changes. If the future never changes, your take on Historia becoming a titan will change nothing. Being a slave of freedom is a complex theme as well. After all, I really do think these two last episodes were pretty good and this wasn't a bad conclusion. It was just tragically real and could have been better elaborated throughout the series, specially the time travel stuff. |

Levi is fucking awesome for his dedication to killing that bitch Zeke even though he's one of the most shallow characters. W Pieck for trying to kill Eren as soon as possible (and being like one of the best characters) Why can Falco fly LMAO, how convenient. Mikasa is FUCKING weird for for that. Armin huffed way too much copium at the ending there with Eren. And finally, the ending was 50% logic, and 50% bullshit, i rate it an 8/10, and the series as a whole gets an 8/10 as well. |

this episode had me in a headlock until that scene, the very scene that caused anarchy in the community 2 years ago. i thought they were going to do it better. i was overly optimistic for 2 years, believing that isayama would re-write the ending into something more refined, something better than this. if im being completely honest here, i'd say mappa did make the ending slightly better than the absolute disaster that was the manga ending, with the addition of the "idiot with power line". and they carried the episode with incredible animation and music. on the other hand, the anime made the mangas ending even more jarring, with erens whole 180 degree turn feeling much more immersion breaking than the manga's scene. but eh, theres nothing we can do about it. its done. AOT, a series that has been pushing forward for 10 years, exploring a beautiful story and plot, only to be almost ruined by a mediocre ending, has finally ended. dont be sad because it ended, be happy because it happened. AOT will always have a special place in my heart. |

Aaaand curtains...."LEST WE FORGET", this is truly the end of an epoch, and what a fitting end it is, for the romantics there is always more to be desired. Thank you AOT for blessing the animanga space, and paving an entry way for more and more fans to enjoy this, this masterpiece of a story that has defined an era and shaped a generation, so I say "LEST WE FORGET". |

I can appreciate this ending I liked it this was beautiful in a way I started watching Aot when s3 came out back in 9th grade 2018 and now we’re in 2023 my favorite character is Riner he’s one of the most well written characters in Aot everyone had their moments it was cool to see the past titan shifters help out, Everyone was amazing it doesn’t feel real but all great things must end. This really was peak fiction !!! |

And 10 year journey has ended. We finally saw the end. We saw start, grow, ups and downs characters that we loved. Or hate. Or love to hate. And on and on and on. I could write a lot about last part of final season the movie, but im bit (a lot) lazy. So allow me to wrote only my final thoghts. While watching episode/movie i was more and more I was disappointed with the direction it went. In one moment we had epic moments like Mikasa "with" wings and in another plotholes/wierd moments like Erem and Armin conversation about 'morals' and 80% to 20%. Then i started reading some comments and analizing events and plot analyze events from the perspective and terms of plots of other titles. Then i realize, i still may despise centain choices and/or plot direction, i accepted that. Reason was simple. It wasn't my story. It was THEIR story. It was Isayama writing about Mikasa, Armin, Eren Levi, Annie, Onyankopon, Muller (and on and on) story. It was good story? I don't know. Did I enjoy it? Hell yeah. And this story was served with a fantastic appetizer of MAPPA, Linked Horizon, Yui Ishikawa and many, many others. On the end i want write two more thing: One: I completely disagree with Eren, but damn... he realized his dream. From now we will be living in a world without titans .... o7 Second: You, who reading this. Regardless if you think ending is bad or good, it's your opinion and nobody should force you to change your mind, i still have hope we all can agree on one thing - that ending is "end of era" .. o7 Shinzou wo sasageyo/10 |

It wasn't as bad as I expected considering the uproar from manga readers a couple years ago. Seeing that the anime changed a few things does make it make sense why it may have ended up being better. A lot of things were still messy. I'm not one that's usually bothered by plot armour but things like the remaining Eldians being turned into titans only for that to not really matter, former titans somehow taking control to fight with the alliance because of some "paths" mojo, etc. were bemusing. All in all, it was a long journey and I enjoyed it all the way even if the ending was not so great. Attack on Titan apparently saved anime in 2013, 10 years ago. It was the best of times, it ended as the blurst of times. |

GoT ending is better than this. Why so much plot armor. Just kill Annie ffs. and what is 80% killing and then u all kill me like wtf. Just kill all of them and then live without any worry. you are already killing 80% of then what difference 20% more will make? Isayama just got lost in the ending and fked it really bad. Perfect ending. People live on. Life's goal is not to multiply, but continue. Mikasa made the choice which Ymir couldn't make. She killed her lover, the devil. That made Ymir free. Historia was the only one eren left intact with her memories. Eren's goal was to reduce humanity enough so they can be on paradis level of technology. So his people could not be wiped out. And he pulled a lelouch with Armin as his zero. I have no words. Thank you Isayama. I'll probably never experience anything like this. |

Peak Peak Peak! When I was reading the final chapters of the manga I was sad and even sadder after Eren's death. But after processing my thoughts I realized that the ending is actually perfect in a way. Violence is never ending, Eren just did what he had to ensure Paradis survives and his friends live happy healthy long lives and he did that. Even since Eren kissed Historia's hand, he knew that there was no other way, All of this had to happen otherwise the Titan powers would simply exist even without Eren and the others. Zeke's euthanasia plan probably wouldn't have worked I think. But man the final episode really grabbed my heart and squeezed it. I was crying my heart out, eyes bawling. I cant remember the last time an ending of something has moved me so much. Especially the scene of Levi crying really moved me. The ending quite literally broke me and if something makes you cry and feel stuff then in my opinion that is what makes the author and his writing really stand out and Isayama is an excellent author for sure. Okay so after collecting my thoughts, I like the ending even more now.The ending was perfect imo, Eren eradicated the Titans, Allowed his friends to live and destroyed the walls. Ever since Ever kissed Historia's hands, this was what Eren saw and there was no other way. Neither would have Zeke's plan worked and neither would the titans be wiped from existence until Ymir saw Mikasa kill Eren (Thus being free from her love chains for Fritz). If you process the ending, its actually well written and ties all loose ends. There was no otherway. War would continue with or without Eren, he knew that so he atleast gave his friends long healthy lives with their grandchildren. That's my take on Aot's ending. Thank you, Isayama Sensei, Thank you, Wit studio, Thank you, Mappa studio. Thank you to everyone involved in this 10 year journey. This was quite literally a masterpiece and the anime portrayed the ending better than the anime, which is why even Anime onlys liked it atleast from what I'm seeing. I'm so grateful to be able to a part of this and witness history being made :) Sayonara Eren, Rest in peace. 10/10, A masterpiece for years to come no doubt. |

The final final final episode of Attack On Titan. Episode concluding the legendary series. Although people really hate the ending, I too now agree with their opinion though not to an extreme extent. Kinda copied from Code Geass ending to be honest. But what was the point of everything, when the destruction is still going to happen and what doe that tree signify that there will be another incident of Titan coming back or what. The end credits really showed the true meaning of 'War will continue till the Man lives'. A 10/10 story up until Season 4 Part 2 But a 7/10 for the last two episodes. ( I know 7 is also too much but I am just that big of an AOT fan that I can't rate it lower). |

I'm just not that satisfied, with the writing decisions, the constant sappy dialogue with sorrowful piano music to accompany, the convenience of certain things, I just feel Isayama let it get out of control after basement, and couldn't keep it up. 6/10 for this final two episodes, was once a great series in my mind (still is to a certain degree). |

Softhenic03 said: Though we did have a bit of recap sort of, or it was just them playing the last few moments of that first episode, it didn’t take long until we jumped into the crux of the matter… when Armin declared his willingness to see the extent of freedom Eren claims to have. Though talks were fine and all, I liked how Eren deployed the 9 titans of the past to obliterate his “used-to-be” friends in the most ruthless way lol. Pieck did go the obvious “he ain’t my friend so I’ve no hard feelings in taking his head” but jesus christ war hammer piped her like there’s no tomorrow. But what followed was crisp as heck action sequence with odm gear like the old times, where everyone got a chance not only to shine but literally become a star, but that was too short lived, as the moment Armin got taken inside the mouth of this huge ass titan, you know where we were leading to… … the appearance of the Falco’s flying titan with Annie and Gabi riding his back and saving our avengers just at the right time, very convenient indeed. Sometimes I think the author literally hated Eren, I mean not only the plot armour was as heavy as a star for these people when they were fighting, but even Armin who got eaten, ended up in the paths. Ended up in the paths.. had a conversation with Zeke, and you know his charisma, he can even lead the baddest and dirtiest people out there to change their… thoughts to an extreme extent. Levi FINALLY KILLED Zeke, and for sure this time, it’s the finals of the final. Though plenty happened in between, but I mean if there’s one thing which I could not get out of my mind was Mikasa's dream… THE WHAT-IF. WHAT WOULD’VE HAPPENED IF EREN THAT DAY INDEED DECIDED TO RUN OFF WITH MIKASA AFTER CONFESSING HIS FEELINGS. Though that’s just a big if in the end, as we know what transpired after that…. … Mappa literally adapted that whole sequence panel by panel where Mikasa CUT EREN’S HEAD OFF AND LITERALLY KISSED HIM.. jesus we didn’t need that with this precision right? Then why lol. And no this ain’t the only thing which we as viewers didn’t want to see in the adaption. THEY ADAPTED THE INFAMOUS, “ I WANT MIKASA TO THINK ABOUT ME AND ME ONLY EVEN AFTER I DIE.. FOR 10 YEARS AT LEAST” , and Eren acting like a… no leave it. Isayama did my man Eren dirty, people call him a clown these days. Really never wanted to live through these moments ever again, but sigh. Eren was the villain, Eren was the hero, and everything happened according to his will. He suffered in between, a lot, heck sacrificed himself for his friends, but he has become the punching bag of this community, and that would never change. At least people know Eren was the saviour, or they might not, but that matters not. Avengers won in the end and Eren lost… that’s the ending.. ending of this “of what once used to be” a great great series, because the ending actually didn’t live up to the expectations after all these years of build up. There could be many adjectives we could term the ending with, but let’s leave it at a positive note after all these years. Mappa did the episode justice, atleast in terms of animating the things. Though you cannot correct what’s already wrong, so… anyways, I don’t know what additions they were talking about, because I didn’t see any. Avengers are messengers of peace, Levi living the retirement life and Mikasa… always waited for Eren. Goodbye. 🕊/10. I think people are too obsessed with Eren being cool. His character development to be cold, calculated and intimidating to the outside world is nice but as a person since birth he has always been a whiny bitch AND THATS OKAY that’s who he is and the fact he could still be that villain to the world whilst still being himself at his core shows Isayama is in a league of his own when it comes to character writing |

Watching the final episode made me quite emotional. I remember watching it in 2013 then I caught up to the manga in 2014. The 10 years long journey has finally come to an end. Everything was animated so wonderfully. And hearing all the old OSTs for the last time was so nostalgic. I liked the little changes they made in the anime. It made everything a lot clearer than the manga. But for that tongue scene I kinda wish they showed the manga's angle XD. My favorite scenes were the first part when the group jumped off the airship and started fighting and especially when Levi went and decapitated Zeke without any second thought. Repeated those scenes quite a few times which increased the duration of the episode for me. The most emotional scene was when Levi remembered all the fallen comrades while doing that Shinzou wo Sasageyo pose and tears sliding down his face. I'm glad that Levi can finally have a good rest. Anyway, Shingeki no Kyojin has always been my masterpiece and it will continue to be on the top. To everyone who has worked on it, Thank You for your hard work! 10/10 |

Levi: ugh I'm injured. can't move. I only have 1 eye and 1 leg. Zeke: Oooyyyy! Levi: Hold my beer. Levi took his head so quick, I'm surprised Zeke wasn't still talking. Everybody went back to Paradis, but Levi. Guess they figured he'd been through enough. I didn't really get the after cred scene. Was that tree leading to where they passed on Titans? Or Eren's basement? |

First of all, thank you Isayama, for making these last 10+ years absolutely amazing. It's been A ride and I'm so sad it's over. Thank you, truly! Second of all tho... as I manga reader I was already prepared for the ending. Still frustrating that so much was left undolved, like what ARE the Ackerman? Why didn't we get to see more of Historia? Why didn't we get to see more of Eren? WHAT was the centipede thingy and where did it really come from? Titan science what? We'll never know... I was really disappointed with the ending the first time. This time it felt better, I guess part of it is because Ive already processed the ending, more than once, but mostly I think its because I've spent hours and hours on YouTube watching people explain the ending, and tbh, the ending itself isn't that bad at all, the bad stuff about the ending is everything that's been left out. However people need to understand that we're not supposed to LIKE Eren, that's the hole point. We got to know him, cry with him, laugh with him only to see him kill 80% of humankind, we saw him the same way his friends saw him, and like Jean and Conny and Levi, we felt sad, but we knew it was the right thing to do. It's still a masterpiece imo! I'll never forget this anime and it'll always be with me since I've child Eren tattooed on my leg ❤️ |

ridiculous. They had everything perfect up until season 3 pt 2. The reqonquering of the wall. Including animation and story. And then it was all thrown to TRASH, this is a MID anime, with a MID ending, so it would get a MID rating, but the fact that it was going so strong up until erwin died (i dont remember the ep) and throw away everything makes it deserve a BAD rating. Of course all the guys lived, and of course gabi the most annoying creature, the little girl who can shoot 50cal at age 9 with pin point accuracy at moving targets lives. NAH man, just get outta here |
