Congratulation, you are officially a dumbass. huh? what is it that I don't know about? is it not what you said that you're dissapointed that they didn't depict the execution with more detail? I know what I'm saying. goblin slayer manga actually had graphic nudity and rape, and the adaptation "censored" it as much as posible. The meat shields, the goblin flashbacks and the first blood boiler, they used obscuring and different camera angles to not show the details but still show what happened. But in this case, the adaptation is actually pretty consistent with the manga, which doesn't actually have any explicit nudity. The question is, why do you feel the need to see that? Do you not understand that you're meant to be upset and disgusted at such event? what else should you be called if you don't but an edgy freak? |

| There is a reason explained in volume 3 of the manga why Humanity wants to eradicate witches. Also Humanity's fear of witches reminds me of what the USA nearly did to China in the past: the Americans feared that China would prevent them from dominating the world in the future. An extremely famous American general wanted to exterminate the whole of China using nuclear bombs. In the end, the President of the United States did not agree to do this. It could have been an act of unparalleled monstrosity. The anime adaptation is cool, but unfortunately it's censored compared to the manga. But I'm really glad that the manga get even more love. It was already a million seller but it will do way better than this. :-) |

Is this supposed to be comedy? There is no world build or exploration for the conflict beyond humans are natually evil. The scene with the girl being humiliated and killed was probably the most laughable attempt at creating sympathy for a character I've ever seen. This was surely written by a 14 year old going through his edgy phase

| @GangsterCat Cross Ange was the immediate parallel I thought of. This one doesn't seem like it's going to be nearly as entertaining, unfortunately. As for the episode itself, seems pretty mediocre/bad |
| It's a good, intense first episode. If anyone thought this premiere was intense, stick around because it will be a wild ride. The first episode is relatively tame to the events that are to come. I want to see how this anime adaptation will pan out, so I am here for it, no matter what. |

| Pretty good start overall. The art, music and occasional humor was on point and the story and the setting was interesting. solid start, lets hope it stays like this. |

| I know many things can be subjective, but this wasn't all that good of a start as people here claim it was. Ending was super-rushed and lacked impact because of it. Not to mention plot conveniences. Am going to keep watching only because am a sucker for anti-heroes and revenge type shows, but it's not promising if first episode is to go by. |

| @Hritikvaish_77 In the manga you can see that humans raped some witches because they are what they are : humans. It wasn't on the episode so at least they kept the humiliation that Chloé lived before dying. And I agree with @-Saphiran-, the violence of the manga is a good way to understand Adonis' vengeance and actions. That goes to every mangas I love like Berserk, Gunnm, Akira, Übel Blatt etc... |
