This string weapon is such a cliché, but it also just would not work IRL. Even if they were made of some magic indestructible material, to not get torn on first attempt of using it, they'd be worthless. Have you put your headphones into your pocket? That's what would happen to them.

@Roevhaal Sounds rather functional compared to non-joke weapons such as the thread nonsense.

@JaniSIr I think the structural integrity of eggplant is a bit too low to warrant use as a weapon.

@Roevhaal As long as it's heavy enough and moves fast it can cause blunt force trauma.

Cho from Rurouni Kenshin has a weapon that's basically a whip blade. Sure, it looks cool, but it also looks highly impractical to use.

Well lets just say the katana being able to block an ax. Yea would just never work irl cuz they are pretty fragile and prone to damage and also ultra ego the most useless and counter intuitive and overall dumb form befitting of that for a monkey. And some huge mecha of the Gurren lagan (but the show absolutely hits)
