| I had accidentally clicked the "delete" button while reading a message about to reply in my inbox and it had what appeared to me to be a plain html popup that asks if you are sure you want to delete the message but if you hit "cancel" it will just ignore that and it deletes the message same as if you had selected "ok". I tried this on two browsers on two different devices and it all had the same behaviour. Can anyone else confirm by trying to delete a message in your inbox or outbox you dont care about then clicking "cancel" ? The message box looks different from the one you get when in the forum and in process of deleting a post, i tested the forum post delete if it had same problem and that one seems to behave properly. I don't remember the PM / DM inbox/outbox messages popup message box always was a plain html or was it like the forum one? So unsure if that's part of the bug or just a design inconsistency. |

Thanks for sharing! I checked on one of my PMs and the "Cancel" button did indeed delete that message! I won't be clicking that button anytime soon; I'll just close the tab or click something else.
| @IridescentJaune Seems it doesnt do the same when selecting checkboxes and doing the delete on the inbox or outbox. So it just seems to effect when actually having a message open. |

So I tried it again by pressing "Delete" and when I clicked the "Cancel" button it still deleted a message. It still hasn't been fixed since the creation of this thread!

Nowadays it seems that no one's looking at this board anymore, so many bugs still haven't been fixed. Imo this one is a critical bug that should be fixed immediately. It might be better to use the customer support form to report things but I'm not sure how reliable that one is. I tried to report something directly before and after more than one year this also still hasn't been fixed. |

Devs probably never were told about it. The admins are who report issues to them. Yet then again there is other things they havent fixed i reported on months back too so they are maybe backed up with whatever someone up top is making them do.

Even if they have a Discord server, mods also use their inbox/outbox for messages so some might've already encountered this bug. | I don't know when this has been resolved since I just recently checked if there's still that bug. A few months ago there was still a bug but I just didn't bother to bump this thread. Now, I just wanted to share that they finally fixed that modal/button after such a long time. The thread title could probably be changed to [RESOLVED]. |

| @IridescentJaune Yeah seems fixed If only i could easily edit the title....that bug still exists where the full edit only does the quick edit which you cant change titles. I will change it later since you have to insert the URL manually to get to the edit page. |
