| This episode left me wanting to see more of Marnie and Piers, this can't be their only appearance! I found the battle good since it was only to give Gengar a win without being too easy. The commentator calling Gengar cute caught me off guard. Nice Allister cameo. |
| Marnie is definitely my favourite character in quite a while. The battle b/w her and Ash was decent. I lol'ed at that commentator calling Gengar cute. As for Ash, he's already climbed to the 15th rank, damn. We can expect some high-profile battles to follow. |

| Finally a battle episode! The battle wasn't as good as the last one it had, but it sure was way better than having a filler or boring episode like the ones they were having in the anime. |

| Finally back to another World Coronation Series battle, this time against Marnie. It was really great seeing Marnie and Team Yell in the anime at last, even if they tried to trick Ash at the start. :( Gigantamax Gengar was great to see in action too after they worked so hard to gain the ability with Allister. Next is episode 100!! |

| episode like this is one to present what would happen if the anime would stay on the league journey format. thinking of ash and marnie journeys through galar is something i wish would have been. with that said though, while the graphics were good the battle itself wasn't that exciting. and why this battle was 1 vs 1? |
