if you mean a similar gender bender there aren't many anime, maybe the closest one i know is "Fantasy bishoujo juniku ojisan to" though ithas a very different theme it's the closest gender bender i can think of
if you want something with a somewhat similar theme but without the gender bend then "umaru-chan" is pretty similar
as a side note there are many similar manga like " magical girl kakeru" and maybe "yo-jo life"

If you liked the science-experiment vibe of the first few episodes, Science Fell in Love (similar execution but with rom-com)

If you liked the cute girls do SoL things of the later episodes, Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (the parts with Kana especially)

Kashimashi is another gender bender with a weird premise but surprisingly wholesome, so I think that fits.

I mean I wouldn’t say it’s quite like it since onimai is light, wholesome and funny but if I had to recommend something the first thing that comes to mind would be “Back street girls: gokudolls” it’s different but funny for sure

In general it's under the (magical sex shift) genre so you can search mal a bit
However, be aware that romance in this genre becomes quite complex..
For example, lets say, the original was male and got switched to female, if they kept their (male love interests) and got into a relationship with a girl, it instatly becomes a (girls love) anime while on the other hand if their interest got switched along with their genre and got into a relationship with a young man (along with the super common inner fight for some comedy) it becomes a (boys love) anime since the mc was originally a male
I've also seen the (ecchi) genre associated with this genre quite a few times as well
I don't know your standards when you consider an anime (similar) to this anime but the closest to your standards might be one that is not (ecchi) and not (boys or girls love)

Also interested in wholesome gender benders

Onimai hit it out of the park for me, although now I have to live with myself knowing that I watched through the (for me) uncomfortable ecchi parts and still ending up loving this show in my heart

Do whatever you want in your genderbenders, if you make it wholesome or sweet and earnest im still gonna eat that shit up no matter what

Fantasy Bishoujo is great

it's a lot like Onimai in the way that the heart of the story in Onimai is the caring and loving relationship between Mahiro and Miharo as siblings. (my favorite part imo)

Fantasy Bishoujo is different because it's about adults that were friends since childhood, but at it's core it's still rooted in the wholesome and caring moments between the two.

It's kind of a romance (they play the deathly dangerous game of genderbender romance chicken) but despite the humor, it's about mending their relationship by understanding each other and helping each other grow.

it's funny, a parody of gender bender, isekai, and romance. Watching the two characters get all flustered over each other is hilarious and really cute.

The plot is kind of weird to explain but you'll definitely get the gist of what the show is about in just the first 10 minutes

the romance part is the main big difference along with the isekai but since there aren't that many gender bend anime I figured this was close enough

Yea the ecchi parts should've not been there, but the rest of the show is literally perfect fr😭
