| I'm kind of wary of these shows for being melodramatic but that was beautifully done. Felt so many emotions just with 1 episode, I hope the rest of the show is this good. The atmosphere of everything was beautiful |
| Finally something good this season, have been starving. Visually this looks very pleasant, beautiful scenes. This got a fantastic feel to it, with the way the presented Miyo and how she was treated. That mother is a monster and what a wuss of a father. |
| It's been awhile since Taisho Otome(Fall 2021 anime) with similar historical settings where I guess this is either Meiji or Taisho era. Tough luck on Koji not ended up getting together with Miyo but instead ended up with the bitchy stepsister. This show is promising and looking forward to the next episode to know about this new family of Miyo there. |

| Japanese Cinderella re-telling, at least in the beginning. Very moving soundtrack, the best soundtrack of the season. Feels very genuine and made with plenty of care, excellent start. |
| That was really sad.... It broke my heart.... Poor Mio. The first episode was really great and I can't wait to watch the rest of the episodes... |

| Man that's a sad start to this anime, losing the person you like to your stepsister that is an asshole towards you, and then having to marry someone whom you don't know, also that backstory shown during the travel? great use of time. |

| Koji loses her for the better. Koji is a weak man. He had no ability to deal with his father's decision, let alone the rounded oppression she is facing and would face. The current male MC is strong and profound. The only thing missing is certainly good judgment. With that, the story is going to be a banger. |

| This is how the use of CGI should look like every time! It was aesthetically so pleasing, such a treat to the eye! After watching that eyesore "The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses" yesterday this anime gave me hope again that there are still animators and directors working in this industry who are not completely blind. But to talk about the story as well I am not a fan of the wicked step-mother, wicked step-sister trope so I hope these two stock-characters won't appear again in the future (though I guess it is ineviteble with this kind of story). |

| Very cinderalla vibes but I'm loving the story and characters so far. Also the animation is beautiful but not too surprising considering it's the same studio that animated Made in Abyss. |
| Miyo is living in a toxic environment :( Not good. A father who's cold and doesn't care about her daughter's feelings, a half-sister and step-mother who's constantly berating Miyo. I'm surprised the father doesn't step up for Miyo and just let Kaya and mom treat her that way. Sad... I have high expectations and also have a feeling that Kudo will open up and prove them wrong. The art is gorgeous! |

| The visuals are very pretty, I must admit! It was just nice to chill and enjoy because the plot so far was painfully obvious...but it wasn't bad. Can't wait to see how things shall unwrap. |

ZXEAN said: Just now watch it live on kadokawa's official YT channel. It was a great premier episode although they didn't include any subtitle it wasn't that difficult to understand the situation. It's basically Japanese Cindrella. It's quite melodramatic in good way. After so many high school rom-com this one is really a breath of fresh air. As expected art style is beautiful and I am really enjoying the traditional Japanese setting can't wait for next episode. (Btw the song which they played at the end sounds prity good) Glad the first comment makes note of the Cinderella inspiration, but don’t take that and think it’s just Cinderella with a Japanese themed slapped over it. The main similarity is how she is treated by her family. |

| Beautifully done. The melancholy is Kazuo Ishiguro level stuff. I think Kouji's father was genuinely trying to help both his son and Miyo in an almost impossible situation, I expect he's also well aware how much of a spoiled brat Kaya is. Given that, I expect he knows what Kiyoka needs in a wife and that Miyo is stoic enough to see that through. I will only be truly satisfied with this show if at the end Kaya and her loathsome mother have a severe fall in circumstances are forced to call on Miyo's good graces to survive. |

| I'd had really high hope for this one and it does not disappoint me. The voice acting, background music, and all are so well done, the voice actress who voiced our main female lead did an amazing job, her voice is beautiful, so sad, depressed, hurt, and blank which fits the fl so much. I was so frustrated at the family treating her not even as well as the servants. The mother, and the sister I can logically understand, not that they can treat her like that but the father, he's not even "TRYING" to protect "HIS" child, who happened to be here because of him, making so furious that he was watching them doing this to her. But you know what, I'm happy for her, finally, she can leave that hellish place that so-called "home". She not getting married to that dude at the beginning, and leaving that house, and marrying to a beautiful, handsome man like Kudou, good for her, this is definitely going to be a happy marriage |

| Okay, this looks solid! Man, I really hoped the father would have that little bit of redemption and order her to marry Koji but of course it wasn’t going to be that simple, *sigh*. At least this means that she won’t have to caged in the house anymore, and the arranged partner seems like a tough nut to crack but we all know how this is going to go… And boy, I can’t wait! Miyo-san deserves some happiness, she’s just too sweet and kindhearted. It’s always those nasty step-mothers, lol. ED is so soothing, definitely sets the sentimental romance mood in the air right. |
