| Here's MAL guideline. IV.5.2　Anime that receive preview airings (including limited previews in theaters or online) will have start dates of the preview, rather than the official start date. Include the text at the bottom of the Synopsis (prior to official broadcast only) and in More Info:

This seems like a really bad idea since it's a very limited preview which most viewers cannot access. Videogames usually do not allow user reviews during closed betas, but will sometimes open up for reviews with open betas or early access releases where most of the community can access it. It makes sense to add the entry so that the few people who watched the preview can view the forum, but it doesn't make sense to add it to a season when it clearly has not aired yet. It really does mess with a lot of users since many of us use the season page to pick the shows to watch and end up disappointed when the shows are unavailable for another 3-6 months or more. |

Well, they could fix the date and just put the status on currently airing so ppl can add it, but oh well that has never happened in the past. They will change the date to January tho once its time. |

Idk what you're talking about, MAL's seasonal section used to be correct for the most part but now they did a mistake on 2 big titles within a season, Goblin Slayer ll and Dungeon Meshi. It's a huge issue for me. I am not the kind of guy who likes to socialize on MAL so typically the most important section for me is seasonal anime and I expect it to be right about dates, it's not much. I am sure a lot of people check it like me to see what's there to watch just to be dissapointed. I really don't know what's up. Maybe it's time to look for something else, even tho MAL is okay as a database, even tho it still doesn't list big manhwas and manhuas for some weird reason. But it was mostly correct in anime department, welll, not anymore. I want to be wrong so I'll stick for a while and see if they remain incompetent or do a better job next time. |

1 of the biggest shows in Winter and MAL still refuses to edit it back? They're hurting the anime's marketing at this point. Why are they even in the industry?
A mistake here and there is fine, but not for 1 of the top shows of its respective season.
