| There was a lot of cheese this episode. Especially that ball in the gun thing. Also was that smokescreen really fooling anyone? There was only one way for them to go, so it's not like he could've easily chased after them. Eh, whatever. Totally called that guy being Van Hellsing without even looking at the cast list or anything. This needs to do a better job of explaining why they're doing what they're doing. Going a little fast for me. At least the backgrounds are pretty good looking. I like the city a lot. |
| At this rate, Lupin is fitting to see it all. That rascal! This was a nice follow-up. Helsing is pretty cool and has already piqued my interest the most. Now I'm seriously considering heading out to pick up the games. |

| Well, the second episode Watchable I really like how the locations, interiors and architecture are made here: with very great attention to detail. Cardia is a nice main heroine, although she is not very interesting as a character (she is the default main shoujo heroine), but she have an interesting appearance and clothing design. And she is also a kuudere, right? The stylistics of the anime is more similar not even to steampunk but to some kind of gearpunk. I haven't seen any mention of a steam yet, but gears are everywhere, even on buildings and clothing accessories. A second female character has appeared: the queen (Victoria?). Very Mommy. Van Helsing is my favorite male character so far, he is cool and dark. And if i understand it right, in VN you could decide who to hit on and i would choose him (since he looks like me, i think) |
