| I'm totally captivated by Ruby's idol magic!! I like Mem's character too but purely from the entertainer perspective I think I gotta hand the oshi title to the dream-chasing reincarnatee. Overall the production value of this show has been absolutely insane in the best way possible: a lot of love has been put into bringing not only the performance sequences but also everything in-between to life and I doubt they'll brake down for the upcoming arc. I'm so excited to see the stage play animated! |

| Like when an Idol performance uses so many camera angles and movements you end up feeling kinda dizzy. Anyways, still a good presentation despite the two songs being rather meh. Pretty average first season overall. Episode 1 was very solid and production values were undoubtedly impressive but the absurd amount of different genres this show tried to cover at once (Idols, Reincarnation, Showbiz, Comedy, Drama, Thriller, Mystery, Romance, Revenge Story, etc.) only made the whole experience feel less and less interesting to follow. That said, Season 2 was announced to no one's surprise and I can only hope it finally focus on the main storyline that is finding Ai's true murderer. Because I seriously couldn't care less about this stupid love triangle involving Kana and Akane... 6/10 - Miyako, best MILF. |
| Yeah I mean this show was great. You could tell there was a lot of care put into making this a good product all the way through. Good balance of entertainment industry shenanigans/the dark side and everything in between with the murder mystery plot. Of course Aqua's character in this upcoming play is supposed to be in a love triangle of sorts with the characters played by Akane and Kana. Meanwhile all Aqua is thinking about is getting revenge of looking out for Ruby lol. |
| My Star started very engaging in its first 7 episodes, with his mystery aspects and the idol world. But from episode 8 till the ending, I did start to get bored. But cant wait for season 2 either way. |
| That was a beautiful performance by the new B-Komachi to end the season, and it was hilarious to see Aqua dancing with his ever-stoic expression. I hope S2 arrives before too long, though I'll try to catch up with the manga before then. |

| I am very pleased at how it shows the sides of showbiz, and as someone who enjoys a very good, POWERFUL revenge story along with comedic moments inserted, I'm willing to wait for more. |

| Welp that was amazing, and to be the last episode too aw man. At least we're getting a second szn, kinda knew that would happen. Almost forgot this episode would be the last, the manga is currently at a climax and it overtook my thoughts lol. Aqua was the MVP during new B-Komachi's first concert lmao. He was going at it with a straight face but then found himself a little shook with their performance xD It was a great last episode I have to say. I can't wait to hear a new OP and ED for the next szn if they make one, this szn had banger music. |

| I watched this completely blind and here I find that it’s rated at almost a 9.00???? I have it at a solid 7/10 so I thought it was good, but I did not find it anywhere near consistent enough to be a masterpiece. Animation would be great (maybe even a little TOO overboard) for short important scenes and then stilted as hell for conversation scenes after. |
| Was really looking forward for new work from Akasaka Aka and the manga delivered so was happy for it to be animated. The adaptation also delivered, really like some scenes being animated and the VA's did a great job. Solid 9/10 and waiting for continuation, rooting for Akane =/ |

| Oshi no ko is a very nice anime, a little but overrated but nevertheless still enjoyable. I had mutch fun with this show and Iḿ excited for a new season. |
| pretty damn good overall. the performance was nice and it was great to see a little bit of ai leak out of ruby, she really got potential as an idol. and seeing how kana took that as a challenge, it will be gorgreous to see their growth. ruby could be the new gen ai if she trains really hard. other than that, a found some things to be predictable and cliche as in expected and i didn't like that. like it was like too obvious. ultimately gonna give this 9/10. eagerly waiting for season 2. |

| It's overrated for sure, not that it's bad but it's insanely overhyped and overrated like it's some sort of masterpiece, but has some major flaws in term of pacing and characters. Kana carried the show while Ruby should receive more screentime. Ep1 was engaging, finale was decent, but can't say so for the rest of it. The Akane episodes got done dirty in term of its pacing and her character as a whole. |
