I don't know what they want to do, but I hope it won't be waifu bait or another bland all-female show. Also, judging by the synopsis, it seems that the super-friendship of the two characters will again be the center of the plot, I hope that the rest of the girls will not be reduced to secondary ones.

The synopsis is something else and I'm not sure if the CGI is bearable tbh

Oh so that's why it's called "cry", I wonder whether this will have any actual spirit though. I suppose this anime could surely talk about interesting things at the end of the day. The whole meshing with the idol genre concept, always kind of stops any more counter cultural content from taking place. The songs were okay, but at the end of the day they don't really sound like songs made by the kinds of bands the show is trying to depict.

Wow, was there some split in Sanzigen and there was a schism?

Yeah, looking at MVs, kinda agree its tolerable...funnily I go through a period to decide if I'm going to consciously like it or not...but I think its on the good side.

This is good mocap, but its superimposed with recorded real life video....it looks like they used Miku Miku Dance lol!!

Just from the MV though...we dont know how the anime proper will look....Certainly a differenty style to Sanzigen.

Will they use usual janky 2D (lol, Toei), then move to 3D mocap?

Looking at the MV as a marker....

The textures look rather decent, I like the representation of real world brands, just like Sanzigen. Apart from the Nord keyboard, the guitars, drums, background, buildings, corridors, look good. In 3D and made into their own style kinda like Sanzigen, but looks like they are going for a more realistic feel

Theres no release date yet, so fingers crossed Toei is giving this a good time to cook and polish.
