This was one of my favorite episodes from the 1963 show, so it was great watching it again in this show, but with its' own spin on the story. I wasn't expecting to see so many Disney references, but I totally understand why they would do that lol. It honestly makes so much more sense the more you think about it.

I've noticed the show itself has been slower at letting Astro become a proactive character in the story. In the 1963 show, he was already doing his own thing, having his adventures and making his own decisions by the second or third episode. In this version, he's been more passive, but this episode marked the beginning of him becoming more proactive, by deliberately going by himself to free the robots in Robot Land in the middle of the night. I hope we get more progression like that.
