Just asking, is worth it to watch only the anime knowing this will not get a proper conclusion? or the anime could be considered a stand-alone season?
I think that the whole first volume was all the anime, so it could be a nice show to watch.

I know there's plenty of light novel adaptations that only end up with 1 season, but those at least continue. That's why I wanted to ask.

6 volumes form a completed story though. The author should've just finished it a little more decisively.

The story is by no means complete. Volume 6 ends on a doozy of a twist, there are way too many loose ends, and the primary enemy has not been defeated or otherwise dealt with. 6 volumes complete the story arc; they do not complete the story.

Without spoilers, would you say a volume 7 could be written to fully complete the story? Or would it need more than that?

By far more than that. To give you some insight, volume 6 concluded what it seems to be the first half of the story. Not gonna spoil you about anything, but it ended a lot of things and started others, but it was a major turning point on the story.
