| Wow................................just................wow. I was gathering info here and there before watching this to decide if I wanted to watch it and well, it was quite the experience watching this. We at least got happiness for the first hour or so. I will always remember this small bit of happiness we got before it was taken from us. The family was adorable. I came into this fully prepared to cry and just as expected, quite the waterfall. Havent cried this much in a while. I heard this gets really dark so I was thinking how it would be and my original idea of the series was that the doctor died cause of Ai, then gets reincarnated and wants revenge on Ai while pretending to be her nice child. Glad we didnt get that kind of dark lie. Gonna be honest Ai was what interested me in this series so now that she's gone my interest is lessened. For me this is like a short film with a sad conclusion. But I'll continue watching just to see how it goes. I really hope that since reincarnation is a thing in this world that Ai gets reincarnated at the end for a happy ending. (But if that did ever happen it would probably be a manga thing 100+ chapters in. Well, one can hope) Edit: I just realised her name is Hoshino Ai. Ai as in love. That makes that last scene all the more heartbreaking! |

| This was good. A bit more overdramatic for my taste but still good. I like how the first episode is a self contained story that flows like a movie. Doga Kobo really outdid themselves. I wonder how the show will develop. Revenge plots are pretty hard to do right and can usually turn extremely edgy pretty quick. Aka Akasaka is a talented mangaka so I hope he doesn't falls into the common traps of revenge plots. Overall rating:- 8/10. |

| It has been a while since I had the chance to sit down and watch anime due to work. I had been so completely disconnected from anime that i just couldnt find something i could watch with pleasure. I went into this first episode not knowing anything and was not disappointed at all. It was so incredibly unpredictable, the plot twists sent chills down my spine. I was completely blown away. It truly takes some talent to be able to make a 1st episode like that. I was able to emotionally connect with the characters, so much so that by the end of this 1 hour and 20 minutes I was crying and felt like i had just gone through a complete series. I hadnt been able to connect this way with an anime for years! Im expecting great things! |
| I though this is going to be standard idol show with a bit of usual idol drama boy was I wrong. This episode was fantastic, I can see why the score is high. The scene when AI loses sparkles reminded me on Ashita no Joe. This is by the same author as Kaguya-sama, he is on the roll. |

| That's certainly one way to start off a series... Even if I wasn't 100% on it, as it was a little bit predictable with what was going to happen,the way they went about it was truly gruesome. Having such a strong start, I really do hope its able to carry on throughout the rest of the series! |

| I have mixed feelings about this premiere. I'm not quite sold on how Ai's backstory is being told as I thought it was a bit dumb that she wants to have her own family so she decided to get pregnant that easily alongside being an idol in her prime too. You could always think of your entire team or manager supporting you during your career as a family, it doesn't always mean having children is the only solution. I mean having kids or even twins is not an easy matter to handle. I hope we get to know more about who is the kids' father pretty soon. The doctor is also very questionable too for being obsessed with Ai just because he used to have a patient that really likes Ai. Even more coincidental that now the doctor and the patient are reincarnated as the children of the idol. Not even his previous life or even his past family was on his mind the first time he opened his eyes as Aqua. There are a total of 4 deaths in this episode, which is unnecessarily edgy just to show the ugly side of the entertainment business. The two kids when they are babies are quite unbearable to watch. The final speech of Ai during her last minutes is good but too bad she won't appear anymore in the next episodes, maybe more as flashbacks. I don't really like how this turns out to be Aqua's revenge story on his father, but will see how it will be handled. |

| The feature-length first episode was pure awesomeness! The way they adapted the WHOLE first volume of the manga, the animation, music, characters, voices. Everything was awesome. Rie Takahashi did a really awesome job at voicing Ai. If they will keep up like that with the rest then this show will be a real treat. |

| I love Aqua's chibi design omg he is so cuteee. Pretty much good adaptation, feel rushed in some parts but understandable because they don't have much duration to adapt it well. Yeah it's going to be so popular for sure, more even than when it's only manga. |

| I never expect an idol show could be so dark, I like the struggle in idol/entertainment business that's quite realistic. I'm kinda tired watching idol anime where they look sparkling and all that bullshit but I didn't expect this to be a revenge story |

| man the first episode being a combination of chapters upto ai's death was really adapted well if not doga koba then i would've definitely wanted kyo-ani to animate this since we would've gotten even better eyes for em lol man ai's death hit me the same as it did in the manga, her monologue of lying about love and in the end being able to love without being convinced that it was a lie was done well |
| the scene where ai died hit me so hard, I went into this blind so this just blew my expectations. can’t wait to see where the plot goes now. 10/10 for the first episode |
| DAMNNN I BURST TO TEARS WHEN AI'S DEATH, 10/10 already!! tbh i've never felt anything towards ai while reading the manga, but this episode hits different... this adaptation is something else, as i expected from doga kobo |
