What got you into the Naruto series?

For me, it was back in 2020. Not long after quarantine started. School was hella disorganized so I had nothing to do most of the time, and I couldn't get out of the house either. I was getting more into anime during the pandemic, and my friends really liked Naruto. So I decided why not give it a try?

I did not regret following my friends' recommendation. I was already hooked a few episodes in.

I grew up knowing about Naruto and some kid in my class always had Naruto shirts, but I thought it was kinda lame tbh. When I got into less casual anime in 2013/2014 I just heard "big 3, big 3" all over so I made it a mission to watch them all. Starting with One Piece, Bleach and then eventually Naruto. Naruto actually took me a while to get into because I hated the English dub, though it grew on me. I also took forever to come back and start Shippuden because of the filler hell making me want to drop the series.

Honestly if it wasn't for the games and the games showing me all the cool stuff that it was going to have I probably would have.

It's hard to say since I love the series as a whole. But I liked the theme around ninjas, the jutsus, the fights, the world, and how heavy the show was in regards to the harsh reality of the Shinobi World.

it was on tv all the time when i was a kid around 2009/10, so I've seen the og series probably like 5 times lol, one of my friends was already watching shippuden at that time but i didnt have internet at my house yet and forgot about it until like 2013/14, thats when i started watching other stuff also

Watched a boruto amv ( the fight with Momoshiki) and decided to watch it then realized that it was a sequel to the original story called Naruto so after watching Boruto till ep 60 started naruto

I moved from my country (I was 12 years old, now 19 years old) to another and in the new school I was afraid to talk to my new companions, this fear lasted for 1 month and a half until one day I returned home sad because I didn't have managed to talk to anyone again, I got a little depressed obviously so I decided to watch something to escape the sadness, that's when I found a cartoon that I saw only one episode when I was a kid, Naruto (the episode where he fights Zabuza on the bridge) and so I decided to watch. The anime gave me the courage to talk to the person who is currently my best friend and thanks to him I have made other friends, not many, but they are the ones I always needed

in 2020 when i started watching anime I started getting some anime clips in YouTube then one day i saw the 1st episode of Naruto and just simply seen it, then 1st episode just hooked me onto the show and before I knew it I already completed the entire series

impulse honestly. i had only been into anime for about 6 months at the time i started it but had already watched a few dozen series and was very immersed into the medium at this point and i just turned it on impulsively some random tuesday which was very weird because i usually put a lot of thought into what series i would watch next so the fact i made an impulse decision, and on a 720 episode series at that, was very weird. next thing i knew i watched the entire series in 2 months. it’s definitely not my favorite anime and i have my gripes with it but i still think it was a really good series and a fun watching experience. i definitely don’t regret the decision.

First seeing naruto transform into 9 tails cloak at my friends house in like 04-05 made me know it was cool. Then I decided to watch all of it when I saw Gaara talking to his mom while fighting Sasuke when I was about 9 in ‘07. It felt unreal watching that.

I got to know about Naruto in 2018 cuz my brother was watching. I saw main fights and some story parts but never completely watched it. In 2022 I got my laptop + qurantine so I decided to watch Naruto and finished it under 24 days.

Friend kept recommending it to me when I started anime but it was too long for me at the time so it took me a year of constantly dropping and picking it back up to finally finish.

Please read mamaYuYu, its amazing. Also MAPPA employees havent seen their families since 2021 lmao

I first discovered it during my childhood back when adult swim was airing episodes of the original show late at night. That was my first explosive to the show.
I really got into it when The English version of the Naruto online browser game released in the west. That summer, b/c of how much time I was spending on the game, I decided to give the anime a watch. That summer break I had to have spent 6-8 hrs a day for almost 2 months watching all the Naruto content I could find. I spent so much time on Hulu then watching the original, shippuden up to pain I think? Or past that, maybe a little into the war?
Where ever the show was In 2013 or 2014. I even watched that spin-off with lee as the main character. That was funny for it’s time

I liked Pokemon (the games and tv show) as a very young kid. Thought Yugioh cards were cool and would buy them for the novelty. I visited my cousins (in another country) and we played Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and all the characters left a big impression on me. By this point I was interacting with lots of anime related stuff, but never really sat down to watch any of it cause I didn’t really understand any of it since I was still like only 6 years old.

Like 3 years later and a new family moved in next door and their son was 5 years older than me and he used to watch Dragon Ball Z and Naruto Shippuden on the internet and cartoon network. He taught me how to play Yugioh too (which was just him whooping my ass all day). By this point im playing and understanding pokemon A LOT too (sinnoh region was fucking sick).

Fast forward to when i’m like 14/15 and I got excluded from school for 2 weeks for getting caught with some w33d. Had nothing to watch and binge watched the entirety of Dragon Ball all the way to the end of Z for like a month. When I finished that I remembered the first ever Naruto episode I saw at my neighbours house - the ep where Naruto goes 4 tails and fights Orochimaru on the bridge lol. Decided to give it a watch and the rest is history.

And that’s my life story.

Back when i was i kid, used to watch it on Cartoon Network but after few eps it got stopped, and after several years later probably in 2015 animax channel got relaunched and Naruto was going on that spiked my interest once again and since then it has become my all time fav

It was in 2019 and around like 1 am on the weekend and I was bored and didn’t know what to watch so I started scrolling through Netflix and saw Naruto and remember people liking it so I decided to give it a shot. Didn’t know anything about it other than they were ninjas lol. Best decision I ever made!
