I feel konosuba is more enjoyable if u have watched a few isekai's already cause its pretty much a parody on isekai

You can go with Mushouku tensei but hmm I liked 'no game no life' as an isekai more oh and there is tensei shitara slime datta ken as well . Sadly Mushouku is just Rudy being rudy

I love it but just know this MC is a special case. They really made him into a mega perv so idk how you feel abt that. Also I’m not tryna start an argument or anything maybe I don’t quite get how it works but the fact he was an older guy and does some of the stuff he does, he might just be a pedo too??? But then again he was reborn as a kid so he might not?? Someone intelligent please help me understand what the right take on that is. but yah just know he’s Pervy af and Ik for some it makes it less enjoyable but it’s still worth the watch bc past that it’s a beautiful show, animation and story.

yup It's problem of all reincarnation anime. you are 10 y.o boy with mind of 30 y.o man.... who are interested in females on age between 10-30 y.o. if you feel conflicted about it, good you are in the right path.

So, I realised that there's one genere that I haven't watched a single Anime of. And it's the most popular one, Isekai. Idk why, but whenever I hear about Isekai, I just don't feel interested. I just seriously dk why it is like this. But I really do wanna watch one.

So, I've heard about a lot of Isekai series. But recently Mushouku Tensei has really caught my attention. And it's also really praised my many. So I'm thinking of giving it a try. But personally I'm more interested in Konosuba. Konosuba just looks like a really fun and chill series. But I might be wrong. I'm just completely guessing this by looks.

It'd be great if you can recommend me an great Isekai series which I can enjoy and have fun with. I want a fun and chill type of series without much seriousness or much fights and all.

Thanks.

Actually Mushoku Tensei is solid.Probably best out there for the most people.Truly high quality solid work except for some questionable parts.Re:Zero is a classic and Konosuba is more like a comedy-parody.I think Overlord,Mushoku or Re:zero should be one

1.Tensei shirata Slime datte Ken
2.Mushoku Tensei
3.Re: Zero

See slime is isekai but if you just got into it, you should watch it as unlike re:zero it doesn't feel much like it is an isekai after 4-5 episodes... It just looks like its just top tier shounen. Same goes with mushoku tensei it is a good show continously getting better.
But give them 5-6 episodes and you will love them.

seriously watch "Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken".. i have seen konosuba and it was quite boring & mostly uncomfortable ecchi.. and mushoku tensei was just awful, unless you like animes with p3døs as main character *side eye*.. don't understand that someone likes that, it's just sick tbh..

Bro, "Isekai" itself is just a theme or background setting for the story.
Theres many type of isekai, Mushoku Tensei is more into action & exploration, while Konosuba is just pure comedy.
You should state first, what kind of genre you prefer before taking recommendation randomly.
Here some popular isekai so you can pick more easily :
1) Reincarnated as a slime = Adventure & civilization
2) ReZero = Mystery & drama
3) Overlord = Exploration & politics
4) Rising of Shield Hero = Drama & action
5) Saga of Tanya the Evil = Action & politics
6) No Game No Life = Mystery & comedy
7) Devil is Part-timer = Comedy
8) Eminence in Shadow = Action comedy

Mushoku Tensei was my first, or at least the first one I cared about. it's really well written and paced. if you're looking for mostly fan service, I'd say this ain't a good starting point. it does have it. It's just not the kind that's meant to be enjoyed. "Reincarnated as a sword" is really entertaining, if not goofy at some points because of sword eyes. "Konosuba" is fun and has a decent amount of fan service, and it's more focused on being a comedy rather than anything else.

I'd have to say my top two picks would definitely be "Mushoku Tensei" and "Renunciated as a sword." I'd also recommend "That time i got reincarnated as a slime. " it's vary comedy heavy and actually has a good story. it's perfect for a first-time viewer.

  1. konosuba doesn't take itself seriously
  2. yojo senki is good action and serious
  3. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill is casual and good
  4. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime - I really despise this annoying anime despite what others say
  5. Sword Art Online is a serious anime and the most hated isekai - it's ok but cheesy romance. Princess peach needs rescuing again...
  6. Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon is ok and less serious but similar dungeon crawler like SAO
  7. re zero tries too hard and is an underlying harem, slightly absurd too
  8. overlord looks serious but it's really a bad harem like re zero and also absurd
  9. log horizon is trash but can't remember why

the less romance and harem the better imo so:

  • yojo senki
  • campfire cooking
  • konosuba

also not all isekai follow standard RPG stats and ability stuff which is refreshing

You should only feel conflicted if the show is serious/grounded enough to portray those actions in a negative light, which I have never seen a single isekai do, because it's just supposed to be fan service. Now, whether you're comfortable with fan service of characters who look younger, that's a different story, but at the end of the day these are fictional cartoons that barely resemble a literal flesh/blood human being.

i mean if you don't want the hard spice at first. Then, go 1st for That time i got reincarnated as a slime, as the world building, pace & hype at the end is pretty damn good.

Many people will say to watch Re Zero or Mushoku Tensei first & well for me also, those 2 are best of the best in this genre but for starting off you should go with less spicy & more fun, so you could go for Konosuba, So i am a Sider so what, Tondemo skill(new Mappa one), etc.

Don’t be discouraged by other people.

It is really good isekai when u compare it heaps of trash out there. It starts off good, with good speed without rushing start etc.
And side character are really good too.

Now I know their r few things u need consider(like others say) like basically mc is trash and does very questionable things. But first this is an anime so.. and if ur adult and aren’t offended by these kind things then mushoku tensei has really solid story with near to best character development for mc( he goes from being trash to better trash) while following regular isekai trope.

Lastly just watch it if u didn’t like drop it.

Their are other good too

Konosuba :it’s really good but u shouldn’t watch it as your first isekai or first few isekai because it’s basically heavy parody of whole isekai genre. If u watch it first it defeats the purpose.

Re zero: This one is very heavy for first timers .Although I can say u can count this one as one of the best in the whole isekai genre.
I wouldn’t recommend it for first timers as this is pretty dark and has huge plot for being a isekai.

Moonlight fantasy or something: I forgot the whole name. This one is good too for starters.
Entertaining story,good waifus ,op mc

SAO:Now before cussing me this one is like father of isekai before isekai became famous genre.Look it’s not that bad for starters in isekai if u don’t like it then drop

Their many more good ones like overlord(pretty dark big good(
Log horizon(good version of Sao)
And u better research and find the ones u like

bro watch konosuba or the skeleton knight in another world as they ate simple and fun loaded isekai anime. Mushoku tensie, you can watch it later and it is very much fun but sometimes it gets complicated. Have a good day ✌

It's good but it does require a certain amount of weeb tolerance as Rudeus is somewhat of a cringe main character, although that's kind of the point. Personally I like Re:Zero a bit more but both are pretty strong starts to isekai.
Actually I think TenSura is probably the best isekai to start with since it has a pretty outlandish concept without being too hardcore.

It depends on what type shows you like. Isekai has SOL, comedy, & action to name a few. Mushoku Tensei is probably the best action one as long as you don’t hate it for the MC otherwise I’d recommend S1 of Shield Hero maybe?

For SOL I’m honestly not sure which chill Isekai is best but I enjoyed Banished From The Hero's Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside. Nothing too special storywise but it was nice I thought.

For comedy Konosuba is the standard. The Eminence in Shadow is popular now and it’s alright. There’s also Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs which I liked pretty well. Just two other suggestions but Konosuba is the best.

One extra suggestion is That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. I enjoyed the animation and the story is pretty fun. The main issue is just the OP protagonist and bloated cast but over the wide amount of media set in that world you get a lot of screen time even with minor characters. Not sure how to classify this one since it has lots of action as well as SOL (even an entire spin off anime dedicated to the characters hanging out and chilling not to mention multiple mangas of this). Basically it’s Civilization: the anime. Definitely would recommend as well. Doesn’t try to go too hard with the story but I think the world and Al the associated media with the main story is fun.

Slime. It's just about the best isekai out there. It's not overly pretentious and not too serious. It's very chill. RE: zero and the like are barely even isekai, and much too dramatic. Gate is also good.
