They can just announce season 2 now with no other information and release it 2 years later in 2025. The first season was announced in 2020 as well and was not released till 2022.

you don't have any proof they sold this much on their site either, there's no data regarding how much they sold on their site, and even so you are still hopelessly schizophrenic. Amazon is the biggest e-commerce in Japan too and people would prefer buying from there, there's no way in hell they sold more than Amazon on their site unless it costed less or offered something you wouldn't get if you bought a copy on Amazon

I'm not saying they won't make s2. I think they'll cut the budgets for the project and marketing but still make the s2 even though it would be a downgrade from s1. Still they need time to make other profitable projects to get the money to fund csm s2.

you know they get money from mainstreaming right? Most of the time the production committee mostly get the money but since MAPPA is the producer itself, means they get all those money from broadcasting. Moreover, they also get youtube money from those eds and pvs they post
