if you like Chainsaw man then you will surely enjoy watching jujutsu kaisen and dorohedoro.

jjk is shounen perfection imho. good characters, story and the action is amazing.

while dorohedoro is a seinen, it's still worth watching if you liked Chainsaw Man. the CGI can be offputting but the music and story is pretty good.

And completely different characters, plot, pacing, themes, motivations, arcs, the gun devil isn't inside Denji, all the characters are different, the fights and power system are different, and literally everything else about it is different

Not a series, but the movie trilogy Kizumonogatari was a primary inspiration behind the CSM anime adaptation. Many of the same animators worked on both. They have a pretty similar feel and tone. They're pretty great, especially the third one. The only thing that I don't love is the decision to have abstract words and phrases flashing across the screen randomly throughout the entire trilogy. I guess they were trying to be artsy. 🤷🏼

hmm best characters and depth? ur gonna wanna watch the following:
steins;gate
cowboy bebop
higurashi when they cry
vinland saga (askeladd is one of the nest characters EVER written and that is not an exaggeration)
black lagoon(very similar vibe to chainsaw man)
ergo proxy
made in abyss (excellent characters and excellent depth)

Be on the lookout for MAPPA's adaptation of Hell's Paradise. There's a similar sense of grittiness and otherworldly ideas fueling the plot. And cause it's by MAPPA the trailers look just as interesting.

Jujutsu Kaisen is similar enough to Chainsaw Man.

Kanojo Okarishimasu has an MC with just as much depth as Denji, so if you liked Denji you should like Kazuya too.

Dorehedoro, Jujutsu Kaisen and if you want something with mild nudity and kickass action as well, Devilman Crybaby. I personally dont like Devilman Crybaby but you should give it a try.
