| I really don't get why there are people who are unhappy with this adaptation. It's absolutely brilliant! It brings all of the gloom, grossness, and uniquely vivid characters and brings them to life with stunning animation.... what is not to like?! I can't wait for season 2 and hopefully, we won't have to wait too long! |

| Consider me invested. Episode one was weak in my opinion and I dropped it. But like any other anime, I always give a second chance and I'm glad that I did. While definitely a few weak episodes, the last few were top notch. So many questions going forward. |

| Not bad overall. I think being able to binge the manga meant it felt faster paced than the anime, whereas watching the anime week to week it almost felt like they deliberately kept you waiting for Chainsaw Man to appear. Still, visually this was fantastic and Power was just as entertaining as she was in the manga. I just hope they add more of her in the second season, she was perhaps less prominent than I was expecting. |

I wasn't a fan of Denji and the cringy fanservice in the first half, but the second half brought me around (the fantastic dub really helped) and now has me eagerly awaiting Season 2. I can't wait to see what Reze's all about. |

Mappa is really good at putting panels on screen but as far as putting together solid composition and creative directing they’re pretty standard and plain. For some reason they always miss the mark on the big power panels. The big double spread clash between Denji and katana man for the final blow is too fast to even see and it doesn’t have the same emotional impact. Still a big fan boy though so i wanna see how they improve with the material I've never really understood comments like this. The manga has zero animation/motion, you know? So, by default, an Anime's action scenes are going to be worlds better than manga ones (so long as nothing's off-model). |

The majority clearly thinks the anime lives up to their expectation, so why don't you stop stating a blatantly false assumption as if it's a fact? |

| A fitting final battle to end the season on, surprising but sick move by Denji by utilizing the chainsaw on his legs. Seems like the battle has been won but the Gun Devil arc has not been resolved yet, let the waiting game for the 2nd season begin |
