Hidden Gem (spoilers)

I have really enjoyed romantic killer, and the rest of the community has seemed to as well. However, I haven't seen anyone else talk about the anime. Could this be the hidden gem of the season? Or is this just because it's stuck in Netflix jail that it's not recommended as much?

Netflix jail is when anime is aired weekly in Japan, but only released later in bulk. Romantic Killer wasn't aired any differently in Japan.
But overall I think that's indeed the issue. Most people check only weekly seasonal shows, not ONAs like Netflix releases

They should have done what they did for Komi can't communicate. Weekly gives it more hype. Everytime KCC is released it hits Top 10 😓 but RK is a hidden gem 💎

It's not really that hidden. It's quite small for a seasonal anime, sure, but it is the highest-rated reverse-harem on MAL so it should gain traction in the long run while the seasonal ones gradually die out. I have actually found it by watch Ouran high school host club (don't judge me) and when I was adding it on MAL I saw the tag reverse-harem. So I got intrigued and found this on top. The premise sold me and now it's one of the shows that's sitting with a solid 8 on the top of my list

Though it may seem specific a lot of people do exactly this; they search up tags of some shows they like to find new ones

It’s fr a good anime.
But in my opinion, nothing on Netflix is a “hidden gem”, because of how popular Netflix is.

It's certainly possible that Romantic Killer could be a hidden gem, as there may be viewers who have enjoyed the anime but have not talked about it yet. That being said, the fact that it is stuck in Netflix jail may be why others have not engaged in conversations about it. Many viewers may don't know about the anime or may not want to pay for a Netflix subscription just to watch it, so it doesn't get as much attention or discussion as it should.

In my opinion, because it’s non-popular manga (even it’s on Shonen Jump plus) + ONA, that’s why.
Unlike Komi-san which is on Netflix as well, the manga is popular (even it’s short in each chapter) and it’s a TV series, not ONA, so it gets more viewer.

I wouldn’t say hidden gem, seeing surprising amount of attention on it. Good thing, it’s deserved, but I’m wondering if there’s any content to keep going as I haven’t tried finding the manga yet. MAL says it’s already done 🙁

I actually want Season 2 of Romantic Killer.
Netflix jail+Full release instead of weekly release really killed the popularity and hype.

Is it worth watching? I only read first chapter on Manga Plus but it was enough for me to skip this series.

Haven't read the manga, but the anime is very well done. Great characters and music, solid story. Animation and art style are fantastic as well. I think it's worth giving it 3-4 episodes to see if it jives with you.

Yep, skip it.. I'm 5 episodes in and it. just. isn't. funny..

Fantastic animation? Wow, must be something wrong with my eyes then.. Even Quintessential Quintuplets had better animation than this.
