| Damn that was brutal. "The dark side strikes back" should be the name of this chapter. Aiko didn't get stabbed in a vital organ, did she? The fuck would Punpun do if she dies, but even if she gets to live, would she forgive him tho. Darkest chapter so far. |

| Fuck, man. This story was already bleak but this is a turning point that completely recontextualizes Punpun as a character. I can't say I feel sorry for Aiko's abusive mother, but I really don't think he killed her purely out of love for Aiko. A darkness and rage had been building up in Punpun for years, and it finally poured out in the most brutal and horrifying way possible. He finally had an excuse to let out all the seething anger at the world that he'd been wallowing in for years. |
