| When the story begins, we only get the outward appearances. Shiori is the pure and beautiful best girl. Akari is the trashy gyaru slut. One of the best things about this story is getting to see the two characters develop. In the manga, more of the focus is on Akari, and we learn that there is a lot more to her than just makeup, jewelry, and fan service panty shots. |
| Archetype bias probably. Personally I don't ship. My choice for best girl of the show is Hamano, Mei. Who seems to have a soft spot for Shiori. Whatever that soft spot may be. |
