The score is a good example of a circle Jerk/echo chamber... if 200k+ people actually watched and voted this would score a 7/10 but as only the more hardcore vote it becomes stupidly overrated. The 8.67 which is a fair score for S1 was voted by 600k vs 37k for S2.Is this close to as good as S1? Pffft Nope. Is this the Best anime this season? Can't tell if you're trolling or not.

In reality, the more people see it, the more difference in nuemor there is between the grades above 9 and 10 than the rest, it is not a shadow of the season since this one rises above the first in many aspects, if it is true I have not seen it so many people, even so the note that people give you is their sincere note that you do not like something do not automatically turn it into something bad and overrated although this is just my opinion

It's a repeatable pattern with Tv series in general- Harcore fanbase always fall victim to the commitment bias. 0.5% people gave it a 1. By comparison the highest rated anime of all time (which has it's shared group of haters) has 3x as many people in relation to total vote @ 1.7%. If you increased that 0.5 to 1.7%. The series would average close to a 7 if it wasn't just voted by devoted fans. Lets double check that- Yep 2.3% for the next anime, 3.1% following after.

Kingdom is another example where the score increases per season, sure the 1% haters stay around the same number but the total audience number gets smaller and more bias as time goes on- you it appears that the show is "improving" with time, while in fact it's more of the same. One Piece could be another example... except it's audience has GROWN and kept the score over 2 decades.

But I love how a 7 = BAD? No 7 is good but it's sure as hell not great. Is S2 "overrated" as in rated or valued too highly by a strong bias? Then yep- it's a great example.

you're completely right, this is not on par with season 1

it's way better.

the music, visuals, character writing, and world building are all at an all time high, + it has way more high points.

every episode after episodes 6 has been god tier.
