I was never bored during this episode, which was pretty nice. I think I might check out some more of this anime. Hopefully it'll remain interesting.

Very interesting anime, I just decided to pick it out of my PTW and I'm impressed.

I really like both the MCs, Teito and Mikage. I hope they both stay alive and that Mikage doesn't betray Teito later on. I hate it when they do that lol

Decided to give this a try. I wasn't really interested till the fight with the criminal. I found the boys to be cute when they shared the same bed on the last night together. Supprised to see him get in trouble with fighting the commander type guy. Now I guess he is a fugitive. Seems like an okay show but not one I'd fall in love with or follow.

The first episode introduced a cool set of best friends, with a likeable protagonist. I really enjoyed the overall shift in tone, with a more determined tone at the beginning of passing the exam, to that of a more dark tone when Teito tries to kill Ayanami, who killed his father. Overall, enjoyable and I really was hooked on the art style and story.
