Just as the title says, this will basically be a discussion thread for Everything Everywhere All At Once.

For me, this film was fantastic. Definitely one of the best films that I’ve ever watched and I hope it gets nominated for best picture and wins that award at the Oscars.

It's hard to win an argument against smart people, but impossible to win an argument against dumb ones.

I liked the movie. It was a great watch. The visuals are just funny and creative. The acting also was top-notch. Since I'm a huge fan of the original Matrix, this felt like a treat. Definitely would watch it again later. I'd give it a 9/10.

I absolutely loved it. You can really tell how much thought and creativity was put into it by the whole cast and crew. From the story, the costuming, the acting, and the fight choreography, to the score/soundtrack and the editing, everything was perfectly executed. 10/10
And like you said, I'd be pretty upset if it isn't nominated for best picture in the next award season.
Also, it was great to see Ke Huy Quan back in action. Both Ke Huy Quan and Michelle Yeoh gave amazing performances.

10/10. It was equal parts comedic, philosophically enriching, and emotionally touching, not to mention how engaging the fight scenes and cinematography were. Easily the best work I've seen in 2022 so far from any medium.

Exceptional film. It's as bursting at the seams with stylistic creativity as it is with heart. Made me laugh and cry in equal measure.
Take care of yourself

From story themes like nihilism and how that wasn't handled in some cringe way to great ideas like the rock scene or the whole fight scene between Evelyn and Joy going back and forth between dimensions was actually very enjoyable to watch.

I will probably rewatch it one day. Everything about it was great and had a perfect mix of action, comedy and philosophy to make for a great watch. No problems aside from some things I can't remember too clearly, but it goes into questioning interdimensional bs in the first place and the concept of infinity. I'd like to see more movies like these haha.

I really liked the overall message and portrayal. Though they were pulling a legion style storytelling there, so its not all that unique to me and it was not as well executed as legion s1 either. Some subplots were too absurd and overused too seriously like Ratatouille joke was taken too seriously to be funny anymore and also they were just winging anything with the long fingers plot to fill up the gap. Also there was some random bone fixed x ray of a guy coming out of nowhere to fill the gaps.

I liked that main cast stories (i.e father , mother, daughter and grandfather) were well developed and they got decent about to shine. But outside of that, it kind of mess. I felt like they could have shown lot more appealing and interesting side stories/universes. But was limited because of budget maybe. I mean it overall looked really campy tv special movie appeal with reused/limited locations. (the white room with donut props were ridiculously bad along with her cosplay)...didnot feel like a theatre movie production all that much tbh

Anyways there are lot of things i really like about it like the husbands role, the rock conversation etc. It's good kind of wacky in some ways too like the pinky finger or film ending joke. But overall, it felt like tv production and some sub plots were not very good, just there to serve as blotted padding were two negative points for me

10/10 one of my favorites movie now

"we can do whatever we want because nothing matters" some existentialism and absurdism lesson again aka "existence is a cosmic joke so just enjoy it"

really love multiverse theme movies like this

It's good. Also obnoxious, like throwing a million jokes, references and easter eggs in a machine gun, shooting all through the two and a half hours and expecting any of them to land on target. Of course some of them will. The main emotional arc is all kinds of serviceable so it works, but I also can't find the revealing life lesson some claim this movie has.
