This might be an unpopular opinion...but am I the only one who actually enjoyed Skypeia? It was really fucking good. It's in my top 3 arcs.

I mean there were some parts that were pretty boring like Satori. But it wasn't as boring as Little Garden, I'm sorry, that arc was so boring I almost dropped the anime as a whole.

The fight against Enel was amazing. The Straw Hats against a literal fucking god, and we're just in the 100s (episodes), Robin just joined at the time. Hopefully I get to see Enel again, that face was unforgettable lmao.

What are your thoughts on the Skypiea Arc?

well I just currently finished skypiea arc and It was a good arc, a solid 8.
it's staring and ending was banger but the middle part was really boring.
what I like most about this arc was noland amazing backstory and its connection to skypiea arc.

I’m caught up on the manga and anime and skypeia acts as a filter for alot of viewers. It’s a good arc if you can look past all the slower parts but many people get bored and give up the show at this point. But if you finish skypeia it’s all uphill from here.

Man, that arc was good and really important. It got a great villain.
And the backstory of Noland here is one of the best in ONE PIECE !

Also it had peak comedy 🖤

i actually don't understand the hate for skypiea
it is easily one of the best arcs in one piece
and some people say it is a filler arc like wtf
it is one of the most important arc of one piece when it comes to storyline

yes, it was the first arc to show us how wonderful and amazing places are there in one piece, at first i was shocked he was going to fight a god ... currently whole cake island arc and really thinks are getting so awesome

I liked that arc since it dealt with a treasure hunt, which is what a pirate manga should be about imo. Some of the stuff in the middle wasn't that great, but I did appreciate the lore and history that was revealed, which I still think will be more important in the series climax due to all the obvious foreshadowing.

OMG FINALLY someone else had the same opinion about little garden as me.....

literly the one decent thing in the 9 episode stretch was sanji taking to crocodile as mr prince...

it was so boring and should of only been 4 episodes.

I think it is one of the best arcs in the manga. That's how much I like it. By pitting them against unusual foreign technology, celestial residents, goat priests, and a god, to be clear, it demonstrated the SH's growth. Best of all, the humor complimented the occurring events in a natural way. Enel was great!

I think it is one of the most important arcs in One piece and it is definitely something people don't appreciate until the second reread.

I like it a lot.
Good characters, interesting story, a grear villain...

I think people dislike just because it kinda feel less important in the story, but no anything have to be crucial.

Solid arc, but I completely understood the hate.

For starters, we just got done with Alabasta and Jaya, two of the most lore-important arcs in the series up to that point. And Skypiea, with the exception of some arcs like Long Ring Long Land, is probably one of the least important arcs to the overall story.

Pros:
Great Villian
Nolan Backstory
Fight with Enel

Cons:
Way too long and drawn out
Barely important to the overall plot

I still loved it though.

Thats the only arc where they are just pirates who wanna explore and have an adventure.

I love it, it's S-tier for me :D

And about the hate it gets.. I would actually say that there are probably more people who like the arc than people who don't like it.

It's just, the haters are more vocal. 🤷‍♀️

Me. Skypiea is a great arc because of the lore and history, Nolan's backstory, the sense of adventure, the villain, the foreshadowing, and the absolutely incredible ending.

yes (character limit).... sanji and zoro vs the 2 whose name i forgot was good..... though if we compare the ending of skyiepa and this arc then skypiea would win..... its just that the arc's mid part is so boring that it brings it down

Yes, I loved it. It even has my favorite moment in One Piece, compared to how much I’ve seen anyway since I’m only on the Water 7 arc. But him ringing the bell is my favorite moment in anime so far.

i liked skypiea. the adventure was awesome. like Indiana Jones and stuff. Idk why people like enies lobby that has nothing but action alone when there's so much adventure here.

I didn't really like it that much. It's not that it's bad but compared to other arcs (for example Arlong Park or Water 7) it seems very slow-paced and a bit like it's dragging out. Guess that just depends on taste. Somehow I prefer arcs with fewer fight scenes. Those are just so long.

i liked and disliked it. the only thing i really hated was the pacing but like… wow, the pacing was really bad.

However, i LOVED how adventurous it was, and it makes me miss the days when the Straw Hats would be involved with the inhabitants of whatever land they came across, instead of just the “big players” in the story so to speak

I'd say the crowd is about 50/50 at the moment.

50% of people love it and 50% don't care for it. I think Skypiea is good. Not amazing but not bad either.

I love the Skypiea arc, tho keep in mind I read it in the manga which has considerably better pacing. I have 3 friends that have finished it Skypiea, the 2 that watched the anime hated it and me and the other guy who read it loved it so ye

This is One Piece dude. For every arc in One Piece you name, there is going to be at least one other person who likes that arc. Regarding your question, I liked that arc. Some say they felt it was too long but I never experienced it since I took a break in the middle.

Watch ohara’s one piece theory video on YouTube (only if you’re fully caught up) and then you may think it’s a bit more plot relevant if you agree with it :)
