I mean both of her outfit styles were nice so yeah I didn’t see the need for the girls to push her into changing but i guess it was kinda needed so they could show the past scene of Yume choosing her outfit for her date with Mizuto. ( Higashira>Yume imo )

Her grunge look fit her a lot more. I think they should’ve just picked stuff that mirrored her style but at the same time was a tad more fashionable.

Well, we are here with you here. She definitely looked cuter with her regular outfir, when they said she didn't look cute I was like "what? She looks perfectly fine". So yeah, I agree.
